Many years ago I had created 3 accounts to try out different classes across all 3 realms. I never played much over the years but I remember when some other server was hacked and someone used account/passwords from the server on uthgard. Since then I have lost 2 of my accounts, i think the passwords was changed. and the emails changed because i could never get the password reset to work. once in a while i try to guess the password thinking that maybe it was not hacked and i just cant remember the exact password i used and well, today i tried it and i got the message the account is currently logged on.

Is there any way we can try to resolve this so that i can get the account back?

We view the email set on the account as the owner of the account. So what your saying is someone accessed your email and got the token it received and put a new email on the account with that token then with that new email got a token to reset the password.

is nothing we can do is your word against his/hers.

This is why we frown upon account sharing only causes more problems than good.

To be honest, I think I never set an email to the account. because my first account does not seem to have an email set at all.

I guess it could be possible that the account i just tried to login too was never mine. i just did a Google search of the account name and it found 7k results, if that may be the case is it possible to try to help me find my 2 old accounts? I know my first account has a reset password from the instant50 database leak that has no email set.

Click account recovery on the left. You'll either get an email or be sent to a form (if no email is set)

Uthgards account database has zero affiliation with any other freeshard. If you set your login and password the same on some I50 freeshard or any other freeshard and they determined your account details. then that is unfortunate.

But if you accidently logged onto another freeshard with you accounts is a way to avoid this in th future. always use custom logins so it saves your login and password and you can bind it in the DAoCPortal to uthgard only with a simple click.
