Hello guys, I was playing just fine about 10 minutes ago. I moved my laptop into a different room and now when I try to connect to Uthgard it loads until about 95%, freezes and about 30 seconds later it says press ESC to exit game.

I tried to reboot my computer. It seems every time I load Uthgard, I can load daoc which gives a very small patch. I tried patching this again and it didnt help. Im not sure where to go from here. Please help I just started tonight and have time to play wish I could start now!

I thought I found a solution here on the forums, and maybe im doing it wrong but I downloaded the 1.113 game.dll file given on that thread. I deleted the game.dll file that was in my daoc folder and put the file I downloaded in there. I tried to run portal again and it didnt work. Am I missing something here? Any help would be appreciated.

Please make sure you have the latest DAOC Portal (2.8c). Run daocportal as admin if you have less than 2.7 (right click, run as administrator) and choose "Help-> Check for updates" then let it update.
