What about 40e/30i/20a?
+ Nice earth pet and ice pet, decent air pet (lvl 37).
+ Decent ae root 49 sec.

- DD will suck a bit.

I playing with this Spec and i like the AoE root for saving me or other groupmember. Normally the AoE Root is part of the Sorc Job, but when the Sorc is under pressure or down its very helpful to have the AoE Root.

Damage is OK, if you are using the level 50 base Ice DD

The Ice Pets are, if they are in good position, awesome too and a great Choice to rupt/kill Caster from the distance or to snare the Tanks
I have a dream

What about this spec: 35e / 25i / 38a ?

You get all maxlev Pets (Earth, Ice and Air), 2nd Bladeturn, 36sec AE Root, 23sec AE Mezz.
So you can use all your Pets for a decent Rupt on enemy casters/healers/supporters (Ice for ranged rupt or earth for "longtime" rupt) as well as putting Snare (Ice pets) or perma Stun (Air pets) on the enemy Tanks.
The resist Rate of the pets shoudln't be that bad against enemy players because all pets have max lev.
This should make you more felxible in RvR because you dont have to rely only on 1 or 2 types of pets.

How huge is the run speed difference of the L32 earthpets compared to the L40 ones?
because they should have the same level at 50.

Run speed difference is pretty big.
lvl 48 pet is speed 6 +10%
lvl 40 pet is speed 5+10% (i think)
lvl 32 pet is speed 4+10% (i think)

but are lvl 32 pets still viable? sure. they still cant be kited with sprint alone, so its not too bad. but they are only running at about sprint speed plus a tiny margin. if an enemy is on the ball clearing pets before they get on people, its a problem. realistically tho it should be fine because nobody on uthgard is that good at clearing pets.

If the 32e pet has Speed 4 (189% - 10%= 199%) should be clearly faster than sprinting alone (should be about 150%) so a 32e pet. if the pets are 10% faster the 32e pet should almost reach a Speed5 which is at 204%.

With the spec i posted you also can cast maxlev Icepets who cast a Snare on the enemy. Without SoS nobody should escape the rupt i think.
