So - I am looking at rolling my 2nd toon now. I got the Hunter into Braemar and am quite happy. A friend helped me with some startup cash but that is running low which is pushing me toward rolling a studded class so I can re-use my Hunters lower level armors again.

I like the idea of a Savage with his self buffs but:
1) How do they actually work PvE?
2) Is it possible to solo without hours of HP regen downtime?
3) Are their any bugs with the H2H that should deter me from playing one?
4) Endgame groupability? This is key since I have a solo toon - Hunter

I have never played a Berzerker before and they seem like good fun:
1) Benefits playing a zerker over War/Thane?
2) Solo playability?
3) End game groupability? This, again, is key.

If I should avoid both of these classes and just suck it up and get new equips and not worry about the lost money then let me know. I'd rather be out a plat in armor/weapons/accessories than be stuck with a class that is no fun to play in the end game.

if you want playable toon with grp viability,forget savage. They are not FOTM because H2H weaps are not counted as dual weild weaps,but 1h (bug?) and wrong defense penetration calculations,when you will not be able hit heavy tanks/through guard bot easily.
Zerker is better,they are popular in grps (PvE also RvR),they are main dps class of Midgard. Roll one,we need more nobrain dblfrost spammers in frontiers
You can cut downtimes with using tinderboxes (not livelike,will be removed?) or heal potions/regen potions.

Savages are my favorite Mid class but without charge, H2H mechanics being 'bleh' no sence in playing them

Note- I played Savages before charge and would keep DD charges on gloves and boots to 'rrupt. Charge on a Savage is just...<3!!

Sexy class but really crappy on this server unless in a group with support.
