Hahahah, THIS. Look, everyone who talked to Harjis at least once knows guy is a retard and fishy. As I've said before, some people here know him from years back on live and still never trusted him with account, I wonder why. "I got hacked" haha...I would sooner believe Dottormetallo that his little brother tried to trade his account. At least Dottor has an excuse, he is a genuine lunatic(which I respect, because psychos are interesting), while Harjis is just stupid and a bastard. Assuming he was hacked, it would have to be a person that has DAOC installed, a person that for some reason hates or dislikes Comet and so on...strange story hah. ahahaha, a lifetimeban^^^ i cant count all the players (and i can count to 10 !) wich i know who where permabanned but still playing on uth......

live time bans were not made since i started on uth, at least i dont remember any. i guess this was some old policy which they refused
to use and this is no live time ban for a player as well, just all his accs are banned forever. he is free to do new ones i guess. |

This is no case for a life time ban. Life time bans will be issued when we see a player continues harming the community or insulting staff over and over even after several bans and warnings. Difference between perm ban and life time ban: - Perm ban means, existing accounts lost forever. Recreating accounts allowed. - Lifetime ban means, existing accounts lost forever. Recreating accounts is NOT allowed and if detected will be immediately deleted. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

I wish I could have commented on one of the other locked posts a bit. I thought Mee's post was spot on to how I feel about all of this. I think this is great for Comet and I'm glad to hear this turned out well for him, but I'm still a bit confused on this whole deal. If you would like I can post on numerous posts from Blue and other GM's that said if you give out your account information you are responsible for what those players do with your account. Why is this different? I believe Comet adimitted to giving his account information out, not only to Harjis, but from what I have heard many people had this information. Comet never refuted that. So once again, why is this different then say the many of other situations like this that happened that the GM's said, "Sorry, your fault for giving out your information."
I've been here for a few years and this "at the GM's discretion" is starting to get a lil overplayed. Either you help people that give out their account information and get screwed or you dont. Basically, what the GM's are saying here is if you are a certain player that can get the community to throw a fit then the rules dont really apply to you. I realise it's their server, but what good are rules when you hop back and forth on them. If you want to hop back and forth then dont get upset when people call BS on stuff. I also realise some would say I'm being an a$$hole here and that Comet deserves to have his account back. I'm not saying he doesnt. What I'm stating is that by the GM's doing this they are setting an example. Either they do this for all people in the same situation or none. They can pick and choose if they want, after all it is their server, but then just come out and say that we do this for some, but not all. Or in other words, we play favorites to a degree. Sorry, but everything I say above is 100% true. This is not an attack on Comet, just getting very tired of the GM's saying things are rules that then are shown to be rules for some but not all.... |
