Any one do it here? How has it worked out? From a pve it should block every thing, but in rvr would the low str/con make it worthless?

no dex gives almost no extra chances of blocking

Imho big disadvantage of koby warrior is,here are no thrust weapons for him. Low str disadvantage you a bit in dmg,but warriors task in rvr is not primary dmg dealer.
Saracen/kobi/luri shield tanks blocks like hell.Its quite fun,how attacker tries get through your guard... |

i'm trying out a kobbie warrior and i'm going to dump all RA's into Mob and Det..
i've not noticed that much of a problem with his damage output compared to my troll warrior, but then he's only level 25 so he's got 10 levels at least before i can try him in some form of rvr. |

Wouldn't bother. Go troll +15 str, you won't block any less than a kobby but will indeed hit a lot harder.

Troll warr with 50 shield still blocks more than pally with 42, even if he is a Saracen. Dex for blocking is overrated, you need moblock, realm ranks, and spec 50 shield...that's all. Yes, +8 spec point in shield should give same extra block chance than... +80 dex. RIP : Ectoplasme

Difference between Saracen and Troll is 45 dex, not 80. And I don't know if I have correct formula, but I don't think dex affects blocking to any degree that's noticeable if you have mob3. ur correct atleast for live...
dex gives only a very small advantage... only pro of sara/kobi is more quick and faster slamming, but thats all. more negativ than positiv facts |
