Just started playing again and I am going the cleric route. What is the desired spec for cleric (mainly for RvR)?

Please and thank you :D

Well I am running

42 enhance for the red acuity
33 rejuv for yellow insta + major heal
7 smite (you get the first pbaoe dmg, not bad for rupt or poping stealthers)

To my knowledge this is very popular spec.

Either that spec or:

40enhance
36rejuv
rest smite

or for heal specc 41-40rej/35-36enh

100% rezz is definetly nice to have for caster heavy grps
and you don't lose anything if you're doing s/c d/q and the 42enh does bases

but albion seems kinda steady on in and preferes 2 42/33/7 ;(

or 46buff for shell 28 heals

Dunno how useful you are with rezz sick :D

And the problem is if you get two 40 enh clerics you casters get yellow acuity.

red buffs cost TOO MUCH conc, not worth to go over 40 enh
I know it, my cler started as 50 enh for red dex/qui, u can buff only 2/3 ppl with red buffs
It's the thrill of the chase
and I'm coming after you.

red acuity costs roughly like one basebuff, get 42 enh and don't waste points in healing - difference is only in the speed, power usage will remain roughly the same.

edit: by wasting points I mean going above 33++ you obviously need at least the spreadheal and the yellow major is nice.

Appreciate the feedback guys and gals. These two are looking the best to me thus far. Are the differences between red and yellow buffs that huge? I'm wondering if its worth throwing the extra points into rejuv if I am going to end up wasting more conc for little reward.

The conc difference is negligible on acuity, it literally costs as much as a basebuff even when red. And on alb you WILL run with caster 100% of time.

clerics need
40-42 enhance. you need yellow d/q buff to be viable. and while red acuity is useful, red str/con or spec af cost too much. not to mention going higher drops rejuv too low.

30+ rejuv. you need spread heal. uncurable nearsight and constant disease spam make it a necessity. that and stupid power costs due to the patch era make it the most efficient heal way too often.

--------------------------
anything beyond those are preference. but if you show up into a group in rvr with less than that you will be hurting your group unless you get lucky enough to have the other cleric cover for your badness.

so really your only popular viable specs are 40e/36r and 42e/33r.
You could also toy around with 40e/30r/20s, but you will notice a difference in your single targets. the difference in baseline smite variance lets you help dps overextended tanks in smallman fights. and you pick up a pbae dd to pop sneaks.

In the times where everyone can easily farm 75 d/q charge which is better then yellow d/q and ofc red acu charge its pretty easy to go for heal/shell specc, but anyway its not common sadly.
