So, I am not sure how, but the long skinny UI window that had several buttons on it, as well as your EXP and Money has disappeared. I think it's referred to as the Menu Bar in Interface Elements (which I don't know how to access without the menu button which is gone because the whole menu bar is gone). The window is horizontal and from left to right is shows your experience, your money, Journal button, Map button, Warmap button, attribute button, inventory button, skills button, spells button, styles button, group button, performance meter, and the menu button. When I asked about it in chat, other people noted that it had disappeared for them as well and they can't figure out how to get it back.

I would like to know if there is a keyboard shortcut I can use to bring up the Interface Elements window.

clients 1.110+ have this bar and if you click the top right it will close it.

Esc-> Interface Elements -> Menu Bar

I followed the instructions precisely in the "How to connect" link. I just installed the game a few days ago so I am sure I am running at least 1.110 but the Esc key does not do anything when I press it. My husband also just installed the game today from the link provided here in the "how to connect" guide and esc doesn't do anything on his client either.

This is what makes it such a problem when that Menu Bar goes away. My husband figured out how to get it back by editing my character's .ini file and setting it back to "visible" but this is not something the average computer user might know how to do.

ESC does nothing. Does anyone know if GM's are doing anything about this problem?

ESC menu is disabled when connecting to Uthgard. You must use a custom UI to open the custom window.
