I've got several characters on my main account that I can't access, including three Level 50 characters.

They're still on the Herald, namely Skiploom, Kiorein, and Acolyn, 50 Paladin, Minstrel, and Cleric. Currently I can only access two lowbie toons on the account, Hoppip and Kingler.

Is it possibly related to my guild, I believe all the characters I can't access are in the same guild. Is it possible for the client to cause this kind of issue?

You're mis-remembering. Please use account recovery to recover your account name for those characters.

Okay, I guess that was my backup account. My main account is fine There are a bunch of characters missing from the one I posted though, I guess they were purged lowbies though. I thought having a toon above ten would stop that from happening but I guess not?
