Please gather more info before posting things like this. So you think that Hibernia has a self Celerity Buff and thats unique for Hibernia and the other realms would also like to have it? By the way, Theurg Pets can be mezzed on Uthgard, so one spell and they are all out of the game. Thats a bug of course, they are unmezzable on live. And because they have no resists at all, they stand in the mezz the full duration and expire before the mezz is over. Now thats an advantage. I dont say something about balancing in RvR, the last fights mostyl were balanced in 8vs8 or 7vs7 ect. we know how to beat mid grps
![]() I only say that one realm can with a effective RvR grp claim a keep in 5-10 minutes normally, but the others need to log to other chars to take the keep in 5-20 minutes, thats nothing about game balancing. The only thing i want to tell is that all realms should have the same time to get a keep, but yeah that's not the game teh "uba-skilld-mid" will say, only midgard is allowed to get a keep fast the other realms dont. By the way, Stun and Snare pets still dont work, And The earth spirits are still to slow. I think i got your point now Gerbald. Please try not to make fun of me
by saying "i'm trying to type slow blablabla" that's somehow not respectful. I think many ppl on Uthgard still haven't heard of what one would call in german "respektvolles Miteinander". Yup i agree. Keepfights should be longer and more intensive. But then you need more Guards and you need a keep-system in which you can boost your keep with your guild BP. And malle - you cant make that possible. Midgard is fast because they are the melee realm. Therefore you have other Advantages. |

Mythic stated a long time ago, that calling realms "melee" and "magic" was a mistake from beta.
So please dont bring this up all the time. The first RR13 Char on all Servers was Agron from Lyonesse, a Runemaster. A Caster from the so called "melee Realm". Its not like Midgards casters are much weaker than the Casters of other realms they may have called "magic" Realm. Tank groups are more effective on Uthgard, but thats another story. Its also funny, that on one Hand some Mids say: "We are the melee Ream, we deserve to kill doors faster than other realms." And then there are other Mids who say: "Its not true, we are not stronger in melee, anyone could be as good as we are, they are just not smart enough to figure it out." To be good in fighting with a sword/axe/Hammer/claw/whatever should not translate into doing more/faster damage on doors than Siege Engines, who were designed to break doors. Where is the reson to run a Siege engine, when you can just get your sword out and kill the door before other people build a Ram? |

hey dont mix things up here - agron is harjis agron is toa cata dr. agron is 24/7 playing his char since 5 years - i've been playing with him a lot and he's a freak and hes so good because he is rr13 with an imba guild. so then argue about this - i had a rr10 sorc - 5 bubbles (ml) pom - speed - mezz reduce - amnesia - imba rr5 mezz / ae mezz. no caster in midgard has this. or baseline stunn - we aren't on live as malle so correctly said. which caster can beat this in 1on1? so whatif midgard can claim a little faster? how much faster is it? is this so imbalanced that the whole rvr will be destroyed? i don't really get the point now. Do you want a hybrid template that on the one hand has casters and on the other is as effective in melee as a full melee grp or what? or do you want the whole keep system to have a boost? no dont want that, only that a ram can open a door faster than a tank.
And by the way, the BD kills the Sorc with his "i-win" button, when the sorc has no moc he will get killed without a chance ![]() |

This is getting us nowhere, but a Darkness Spiritmaster (from the melee Realm) is the only class that can beat a Moc Sorc 1v1, because his lifetap is better (and then, he also has mezz and a Pet).
So both MoC, both mezz, both purge and the SM wins, because his LT does more damage and returns mor HPs. On Topic and in short: RPs for Keeps favour the realm able to take the keep fast, so yes, i would like to have the same door breaking speed for everyone. Let Mids do more damage to Doors than other realms, but make doors so hard and rams so good on doors, that its worth using a ram. |

dont overestimate moc - just run away when someone tries to moc u down.
anyway - I think that you are right massa and gerbald. I will try to support you in that case. Gates should be much stronger so that only rams will be really effective. This should also make keepfights more interesting. |

VN board class whine thread ![]() The one and only relevant point about destroying kee gates on Uthgard is how many melee dmg-dealers you can field. Of course, Midgard is in a slight advantage, but Albion and Hibernia are not in such a disadvantage some people here try to feign. So, the only solution has already been stated... We need stronger doors. Because I don't want players to just earn stronger doors by doing nothing, I suggest the following system based on live-server keepdoor spreadsheets: .pdf listing wood-needs to upgrade doors - example on door costs on live door lvl1: as strong as doors are atm (base HP ~10.000) | 10x ram swing door lvl2: all resists 10% | 11x ram swing | upgrade costs +50g door lvl3: all resists 25% | 13x ram swing | upgrade costs +125g door lvl4: all resists 45% | 18x ram swing | upgrade costs +225g door lvl4: all resists 65% | 28x ram swing | upgrade costs +325g door lvl5: all resists 75% | 40x ram swing | upgrade costs +375g total costs to upgrade a door from lvl1 to 5 = 1,1platinum Thats an amount players in rvr are easily to collect in their group! For rams I'd suggest a base dmg of 1000dmg per swing onto structures leading to the above listed swings to destroy a door. Giving rams a swing time of 15sec (like trebuchet) you would need around 10minutes to open a lvl5 keep gate meaning the defending realm would have enough time to gather and go to defend. Thats not totally live-like, but almost and should be satisfying to all. However, you still should know, that Midgard will ALWAYS be able to destroy keepgates faster, because of the group setup which will always offer more melee damage than Alb/Hib groups have. The thing with the rams sounds good.
The point where you accuse others to feign is insulting and probably a flamebait anyway. The part about the Mythic given feature is missleading, ... ... because Animists (and BD and Necro of course) and their Ability to defend Keep for example is also a Mythic given feature, just that its not implemented. So while you think one "mythic given feature" is fine and belongs to the game, nobody can argue about it, other mythic given features are not there and in another thread (talking about Animists being a lame class) you explained that you think thats good. So if its good that one class and their ability to defend keeps is being held back and out of the game, why would another class and their ability to take keeps be out of discussion? |

I used the word "feign", because it is an absolute exaggeration how for
example Malle argues. His words spread the idea that only Midgard was able to successfully and quickly raid keeps and this is just not true. This night for example when I was at Dun Crimthain Traxx, Kurosaki and Iam attacked and opened the outer gate in less than a minute, so where is the problem? You are hyping the whole situation for what...maybe 30-60seconds of time that Midgard is faster to destroy a keepgate while there are (as I already mentioned) only 2melee dmg dealers in an Alb group while the Midgard group in Malles video had 5 melees and trebuchets firing at the gates. And the best about it - the video was made before keepgate-changes when the gates used to be very weak. To post such videos followed by Malles pseudo-objective arguments means nothing more than to distract the players AND the staff in order to gain any fotm change for his buddies. ![]() Also about Animists...I never asked to slow down the development of Animists and Necros. I hope that all SI caster classes will be implemented soon. About me saying that animists being a lamer class is a personal point of view, because I quite made a lot of experience fighting against them on live servers. However, compared to other players I don't whine about classes (example BD lifetap), because I do accept Mythics given balancing and I do understand that Uthgard and DoL is by far not finished and will get more and more features over the time. Referring to the new situation:
We just claimed some Towers in emme, and we get in a grp with 6 people about 1-3 RP. So this is worth nothing..^^ maybe it is possible to get everyone a fix amount of RP.. dunno 30 or 50 ? but 1-3 is senseless anyway. Grezz Murax |

Yeah, 1-3 is a bit low.
But 1600 for a Tower Captain (devided by the number of Groupmembers) was a bit much. What i wanted to add to the idea of Keep- and Door-upgrades costing Wood is: Upgrades are usualy paid by large guilds and a whole realm. Since we have a lot less players than on live, we dont have so many people to collect money for upgrades from. So less would should be needed. I also remember convokers (ML2?) being able to summon 100 wood of random type every 2 or 3 minutes and i remember larger BGs with many convokers on live who paid for upgrades just with the summoned wood from the convokers. So please dont make upgrades too expensive, its not that expensive on live. Maybe, if a guild could only claim 1 keep and members of that guild would gain a bit more bonus than everyone else, guilds would battle for keeps more? I remember when they started giving bonus for keeps on live (old frontiers) there was a 10% bonus if you killed mobs near a keep your realm had claimed and a 20% Bonus if your own guild had claimed that keep. In OF we sometimes claimed Crim and then went to the finspot and enjoyed the 20%. |

/ontopic just give a keeplord 1000RP. Means 125RP in a full group. Of course a RR5+ duo might raid a castle in the nights, but I think for reraiding a duo should get 500RP due to the amount of time they need to put into the raid. However, I don't care about players who have the urgent need to reraid emain keeps at 2-5 in the morning ^^ Greets Sethor Characters:
