ForumDAoC Portal not working anymore

The portal decided not to work anymore all of a sudden.
Everything was fine, then a weird 'debug JIT' windows opens up when i start it, making me unable to start the game. I already tried to reinstall the portal itself and to reinstall microsoft frameworks. Any help? |

There's no real error message as you probably meant it, I just start the portal and this happens (sorry, it's in italian):
 ... basically asking me which debugger I want to use in order to debug something. ?_? |

JIT errors are normally associated with visual studio crashes. Normally you can disable JIT Debugging and carry on as normal..
follow this guide here to see if you can safely ignore them. http://www.pcpowerguide.com/windows/jit-just-in-time-debugging-error/ It seems to indicate that it could possibly be the browser component that is crashing in the portal. |

Every bug gets fixed. Sooner or later. never change a running system  only now it doesn't work maybe worth changing ixi   |

2.8 has the advantage that you never have to run it as admin again and that it auto updates itself INCLUDING all mods.

All mods is not accurate with Portal 2.8
Classic icons is the one I can't seem to install no matter what i do. |
