I know we have talked about some alternate uses for BP's in the past and most of the ideas that we (the community) came up with were shot down for various reasons. I was thinking the other night and came up with another idea that might be considered by the GM's. Now I know you guys have your plates full at the moment and I'm just looking at this for down the road. What about implementing barding for the RR5 and RR10 horses that you can purchase for ALOT of bp's.

Hear me out now. You wont have to worry about people trading or using this to make a profit since you will only be able to purchase these items IF you have a RR5 or RR10 mount. The barding/bags etc. will all be put on the mount right away and is not removable.

This gives people a nice use for BP's and it slightly rewards the people who have put in time in RvR. It also makes paying the 15p and 30p needed for the 2 high RR mounts a bit more valuable. Say maybe you get 1 bag and some minor barding for like 50k bp's on the RR5 mount. Then the RR10 gets another bag and some extra barding for another 100k bp's or whatever you feel is a fair price to have an extra few bag spaces and some cool looking armor for your mount.

I know the GM's will say that too many people have to many bp's saved up, but so what. This is not gamebreaking in the least. It allows people who have got to RR5 or RR10 to be able to carry a few more items around and have their very expensive mounts look a little more neat, and it will cost them 15p for the RR5 + whatever price u come up with on bp's and 30p for the RR10 +whatever bp's price you come up with.

I think i made a topic few years ago about barding/armors. That never came on Uthgard. I dont know if the view about that changed meanwhile.

Since horses are not even livelike for what they want, i doubt they will add things like this
