problem with upgrading keep and gates is, they take it when we are sleeping (and we aint goin to bed early i can tell u)

If people taking a claimed keep late night /early morning is a problem guys then before you go to sleep just type /gc upgrade 1, and that problem is fixed. I don't mind the late night crew getting a few extra rp's from our claimed keeps because those guys lost a lot of rp's when the tasks where changed and them getting 2k rp's from my keep doesn't bother me at all.

My point on claiming keeps is that some days we would take a keep and claim/upgrade it 3 or 4 times and your BG would take it back, while not claiming 1 keep in return. so if your BG is 3 groups and you take a claimed Myth keep worth 2k rps 3 times a day during our fighting then that is 6k x 3 = 18k rps for midgard. And if you did the same and our 2grp BG took 3 keeps from you a day that would be 12k rp's for Albion. Midgard would still come out ahead because you have more people running the frontiers. It would be good for everyone. But you don't do it so Midgard has just been raking in all the extra RP's while giving nothing back in return. This is why we have stopped upgrading. When you start upgrading we will gladly upgrade also. I personally think that every RP that a casual player can get on all realms helps the server and is good for everyone, so I hope that claiming /upgrading keeps will become a lot more frequent.
I also believe that this fun zerg fighting in the frontiers is huge for the server and will help our population to grow and make the server better for everyone, so if claiming keeps and upgrading them to lvl 4 (which cost the same as lvl 1 ) helps keep the action going then we should all gladly do it.
This is even good for the 8man groups, this is where people can make the rp's needed for those RA's that 8mans want players to have and a lot of people that enjoy rvr keep fighting will eventually move on to 8v8. Everybody wins.

as for us winning or losing it doesn't really matter because we have really been having fun, but there was only 1 day a couple days ago where we actually felt like we won the day, prior to that we felt like we gave you a good fight every day but lost over all. I know several times we got cocky and you not only out smarted us but you toasted us in the process

We love to try and take fens we know that Mids will always come to defend and we will get a good fight there, but I wasn't able to play yesterday so I don't know if the guys tried for Fens or not.

I want to make one clear point for everyone.

The staff has given us the tools to increase RvR and make the server more fun for everyone. If we the players don't make use of these tool because we don't want anyone else to make a few extra RP's then its just pure selfishness and there is no one to blame but the players.

It's just not even worth the time and money to upgrade doors. There is no reason to upgrade the keep if you do not upgrade the doors as well. On average I would manage to gather a full group to fight the offenders in the time it takes the attackers to bring the first door down. It's essential to upgrade the doors if you plan to defend keeps in time to catch the enemies.

These are the main issues I find . . .

1) I don't think the average players is even aware of the Warmap feature of the Uthgard herald. I'm constantly running around playing "Fire Fighter". Always showing up to keeps, even enemy keeps, to hopefully douse the flames. As for the moments I actually take a keep, nobody incs me. . .

2) The time and cash it takes to upgrade doors. Nobody wants to sit there and dump gold on these fortresses if players are not defending it, it's only viable to do so on "main" keeps that defenders have easy access to defend from. As stated before, there is no reason to upgrade the keep without upgrading doors. The higher level doors are essential for players to arrive at these keeps to defend them, if they are not upgraded players most likely will not make it. Thus offering a free RP bonus to whoever takes it.
- I think the best solution to this is to change the Upgrading system to the newer live system. Where the doors automatically upgrade with the keeps.

3) "We don't want the enemies to gain RP's" mindset of course.

4) I really don't understand why players do not at least claim the keep structure and leave it lvl 1 so guilds at least know if there is inc.

Let me see. Last night you raid with 16 ppl on our frontiers. You go to renaris, open first door and go back to surs.
You got owned from 2fg albs. After you are comming back, DG pug was with you .. We kill a lot of mids again befor we die after jumping out of keep.

After you try, at last, hurbury with 15 guys, and got owned again, you never come back to HW.
You switch to Odins, get kicked again at bled and in the near of hilds.

The only side who you completly ride was hib side. Not alb side. Cmon guy, you ignore upgraded keeps if enemys are in the area .. you try the easy way .. raiding if no one, or not much defenders are out.

I like this style .. all your pac healer do AE-Mezz and all the gimp mids with thane classes brake the mezz directly .. high skilled!

So was schlechtes wie den Besorger möchtegernzerg hab ich selten gesehen .. da wundert es mich kein stück das ihr DG anbettelt das sie euch helfen .. Für beiden Parteien is das jedoch, in meinen augen, nen Armutszeugniss! Ihr provoziert nen 'Gegenzerg' und macht dann MIMIMI weil ihr ne klatsche bekommt selbst wenn wir in Unterzahl sind ... you misunderstand him heartace.
he wasn't claiming they took all the keeps at all.
What he means is they try to take all keeps whether they are claimed or not. He isn't boasting or bragging.

What is wrong with claiming keeps.. It's harder to take them and groups have the chance to get there for def.
Who cares if some guys get RPs from it when they raid it when noone of your guild is on?
Seriously, what's that "omg my enemy shouldn't get any rps" attitude?

You want RPs? THen don't do things that don't give the enemies no RPs.
A hungry enemy will die or get food elsewhere when it doesn't get any food

Btw, it's called "realm pride" not "all bad to the enemy"!!

I want so say thanks to the albs and hibs, especially to the Albs who often upgrades the keeps !

The last 2 days were amazing!

I twink most time but I made (in these 2 days) round about 100k with my ally/guild Group.

We had also amazing fights. We made a 12h hardcore rvr/task session and we had probably 25x fg vs fg fights while tasking.
Suprisingly, with our causal players, we had a 24-1 win row in this 12h, so also thanks to our amazing rvr trainees.


P.s Our last action were, to claim rena for you by besorger well, ok thats a lie, we did not want this "feeled" Upgraded lvl 1000 keep from nightwatch xD

Addition: Most of our Group were from the guild " Schwarze Legion" and some of " besorger" therefore we are only able to claim 2 keeps. We raided complete alb and mid back yesterday. So we were not able to claim all. Maybe thats the reason, why mid does not claim so much? Most groups are guild/ally Groups so less ppl with dif. Guild who can claim.

We don't feed you with more then 500 rp's untill you wanna make rvr, and no pve...... the only thing we've done is to upgrade the doors.
