Excalibur93 Myrmidon Posts: 147 Joined: Jun 20, 2011 00:31	Reply with quote by Excalibur93 » Nov 20, 2012 15:11 Hallo, wenn ich versuche, den Tajendi-Mod zu installieren, bekomme ich bei jedem Versuch eine Fehlermeldung, dass der Versuch fehlschlug, weil nicht über das Ende des Streams hinaus gelesen werden konnte. Daoc-Portal ist in der aktuellen Version ( 2.8 ) installiert und läuft als Admin. Das Betriebssystem ist Win7-Professional. Net-Framework ist installiert. Alle anderen Mods ließen sich installieren. Der Fehler tritt sowohl bei dem automatischen Download und installieren über Daoc-Portal, als auch beim händischen Download und installieren auf. Was auffällig ist: Die Größe des Tajendi-Mod wird hier im Downloadbereich als auch beim Autodownload im Portal mit 107 MB angegeben. Tatsächlich aber ist sowohl der manuelle Download als auch der automatische Download übers Portal in beiden Fällen bereits nach ca. 50 MB beendet und der Mod hat dann auch nur eine Größe von ca. 50 MB. Hat jemand Ideen zur Fehlerbehebung? Kann der Fehler irgendwie bereits beim Download (nur 50 MB statt der 107 MB) liegen? Vielen Dank im Voraus für Rückmeldungen! Ich restarte den Webserver exakt alle 15min zu jeder Viertel Stunde (:00 :15 :30 :45). Ich denke wenn der Download genau im Restart noch läuft bricht er knallhart ab. Das kann das Problem sein. Hallo, daran kann es wirklich liegen... ich brauche aufgrund meiner Inetverbindung für den Download schon knapp 14 Minuten. Ich werde den nächsten Downloadversuch jetzt einfach mal direkt nach einem der geplanten Restarts des Webservers versuchen... nur ist die Marge dann halt mit 1 Minute schon sehr dünn. Ich melde mich sobald ich es versucht habe. Download um 18.30 Uhr gestartet und um 18.44 Uhr beendet... diesmal den Mod komplett bekommen und das patchen hat auch geklappt. Danke! Aber... Blue: Auch wenn das nun bei mir haarscharf geklappt hat, könnte ich mir schon vorstellen, dass andere Personen, die eine noch langsamere Inetverbindung haben (ich hab 2000er DSL) da wirklich in die Röhre kucken... denn sobald der Download länger als meine 14 Minuten dauert, ist es ja scheinbar dann prinzipiell unmöglich, sich das Ding in einem Stück herunterzuladen. Vielleicht kann man ja für jene Personen irgendwie Abhilfe schaffen? Ich bin grad etwas schockiert: ich müsste erst in die Logs schauen, denn auswendig weiß ich nicht, wann ich einen der Apache-Server auf der Arbeit zuletzt neu gestartet habe ... zweimal im Jahr würde ich als Daumenwert sagen (Apache auf Debian in allen Fällen). Und die haben deutlich Last - TelKo-Unternehmen, international tätig. Den letzten Windows Webserver habe ich auf ausdrücklichen Kundenwunsch 2004 aufgesetzt (auf Win2000 Server) und Ja, den musste ich auch regelmäßig neustarten. Aber das das immer noch so ist ...

Ich werde dazu bei Gelegenheit ein Script schreiben welches das Problem erkennt und nicht pauschal neustartet. Mit dem Apache wars übrigens deutlich schwieriger in dieser Vserver Umgebung. Aktuell wird Lighttpd benutzt. Wir können uns keinen teuren Webserver leisten, das geht einfach nicht da wir nicht kommerziell sind.
