Hi

When i launch DaocPortal i get this message : "Could not download server list. try again later."

It perfectly worked until today...what can i do ?

It's okay i found an issue, i post it for those who have the same problem :

Start daocportal and click on Custom Shards.

Right-click in the window and choose Add Server.

Now fill in:
Name: Uthgard
Description: not needed
IP or Hostname: 88.198.56.21
Port: 10300

That seems good but all my logins are buried in the quicklogins section. Is there a way I can rescue them? I notice the quicklogins.dat file is encrypted.

Today at afternoon,DAOC portal worked fine,now at evening something happened,portal is working bad. I didnt install/uninstall anything,no updates,etc...

Daoc portal can't download server list cause http://www.dolserver.net/ is down... when dolserver homepage will be online again daoc portal will work also.

I installed the the custom sever as instrtucted but all my characters are gone? Need help here.

Make sure you typed the correct account name and don't have a quicklogin set up that might be sending the wrong account name.

I mentioned I had the same problem above but I've worked out how to get to your logins now. This is because this server in DAoC Portal is defined differently to the normal Uthgard server that you would select from the other tab.

To see your usual logins, right click the newly created server and select "Edit Quicklogins". Once this dialogue comes up you will not see any of your saved users but if you look to the top of this page, you can select your usual server - select it and you can see all of them. If you select them all and hit copy (CTRL+C), you can then paste them into notepad and you have all your login information to hand then.

Fail machine itself is, if it is necessary to prescribe what is in the file, I do not know

When I see that it uses 2.0 its wrong anyway. You must use .NET 3.5 for DAoCPortal.
