Yeah having those items on an Epic Encounter with a loot table of 30 items compared to SI on a gimp mob with a loot table of 5 items is no difference.
With SI all body necks etc would be obsolete and the S/C charges would be an easy to get item.

All you did for now is making the gap between casual and hardcore players even bigger.

you know you decrease an item worth 60p
to a worth maybe 5p now?

i know that you like the idea that you actually now aqquire the si items and you won't need to change them once si comes out. but first you decrease the value and than you change it back w/o increasing the value again. this makes my items nearly worthless. You like pets as event rewards as there is a limited number for available titles. Make something cool for the change idk a glow reskin for body-necklesses or something at least. right now the items are worthless as soon some farmed the 75 value adequats.

i also understand that you don't want to change the values back to 75 as thats the only reason to farm the new items
but a worth substitute would be nice at least :<

Thats what im talking about, items worthless(almost), charges are not as good as the new one, when you want it farm like an idiot!

Wow, I dont know how I feel about this. I agree with the change as it makes the most sense for being able to use the normal values on SI equipment, but I agree with alot of others that for people that have paid ALOT of plats and time into getting the "high end" s/c items they should be able to have those values increased.

Thats tough to swallow that not only did items that you paid or farmed alot to get are now taking a huge price decrease but also you will now have to go either save up alot of money to buy a new item or farm it as much as you can.

I'm not saying I'm against the change, but for the GM's to act like they dont understand why some people would be upset about this is a bit hard to understand. It's another change that has never been talked about being changed that came out of left field and has a pretty big effect on peoples templates. I would agree that most group toons will not be too affected by this, but any serious solo toon with all high end charges now just lost between 35-65p and has to also probably pay another 50-75p for a new item.

So there has been a charge change to finally match live charges...thats GREAT...BUT as always...theres a big downer involved :


Already existing items DONT received a change? Why friggn NOT?

People who farmed their ass off to get those charges are literally screwed now...forced back into PvM and back to start. Thats just wrong ! It should be the logic step to do : Change an Item = change all the existing versions of that Item ALSO.


P.S. same goes for Akars charge...I am very aware of the fact that the staff wants to get rid of tajendi Items + tajendi all together....but Staff also should be fair enough to offer an exchange for all the effort that was needed to achieve those items...OR also raise the charge...


P.P.S. WHATS the advantage of a) [I am a little bunny and like flowers] up the players and b) have two versions of the same item implemented?

I never said I don't understand why players wont be upset. People are often upset by change, whether it be in game or in IRL. That being said, "on uthgard" is no excuse. Hibs and Albs will never get a 75 value version of Necklace of the Body.

As far as the existing charges, you still haveexactly what you had before.

Rector is right : players invested time and effort to get the best items/charges available...now all they received for their investment will be a slap in their face. They will have to repeat ALL their work and effort just to be back in business with other players...AGAIN.

What you have from such a change? Most people had Charges with high value you decreased them...now you increase back and people who had the "old" items but yeah they get nerfed are now the idiots?

I bet that 12 extra str/con will see people autowin all the time and if you paid 60p for this necklace then more fool them.

For casuals this makes no difference, but for the tweakers.. well you can see the QQ.

I personally like that change, it is live like. If it makes sense on a BB free server or not, thats out of discussion I guess.
Who cares for 1v1, thats not what Daoc is for. So if u leave that out of the discussion, all that changes is that u can charge up w/o loosing stats. So in general this is a buff for Mids and Albs, since they usually run not fully buffed, due to not having enough concentration for the whole group. In Alb u can charge D/Q now and buff AF, so DQ is not shearable anymore.
Thats all and all players who ve to much time and money need to get a new Body Neck qq. Wait for SI, will be for free there.

12 more d/q.... but its 18 more s/c, thats almost aug str3 difference.
