I am being told that Scouts are completely obsolete and bugged on this server.
I am being told that their bow damage doesn't even come close to the bow damage of the ranger. Can a REAL, level 50 scout please confirm or clarify these myths? Why would a rangers bow outdamage the Scouts? This doesn't make sense at this patch level. |

A Ranger has self buffs while a Scout does not so of course the Ranger will outdamage them.

Melee :
Scout : 1hand and shield Ranger: dual + str buff, d/q buff, add dmg Armor : Scout : neutral to slash, vulnerable to thrust Ranger : resistant to slash, neutral to thrust, spec AF Bow : Scout : better range Ranger : better damage thx to d/q buff Ranger >>> Scout  But scout can be sexy saracen female  By the way, the spec AF buff of ranger is a 1.70 change. most rangers are more melee, and on uthgard with 63+ d/q charge kobil ring, you have same dex value, depending on ra-specc eventually higher than ranger with selfbuffs... i'm running 327 dex with kraehe (augdex4) +63charge, sometimes basedex+, [but these times are gone, i guess] even ran a while on dex5, was pretty awesome... /longbow40, btw/
except very few bow-rangers theres not even one single ranger who can compete with my bowdmg-output wich has its highest on ns (bluntarrows) or similar midstealther (slasharrows) its between 680-850 hp, if i get them staelthed/sit/standing around don't bother with scout mathematics on uthgard, play if its beloved char, otherwise delete before lvl5 regards, kraehe Last edited by Sumosan on Sep 29, 2012 00:26, edited 1 time in total.

yes, rangers cant compete with ur dmg :  Only rr6 with aug dex2, cant wait for aug dex 4  2012:<@[Uth]Abydos> If we don't have SI by the end of the year, Im fairly certain I wont be a GM anymore :-p

besides the fact that you are who you are, it might is fact too, that you cant read AND understand...i said some few rangers...

You also said there is not a single ranger that cant compete with your dmg output
 . At same rr than you, a bow ranger will always make more dmg, pure dmg from bow will be higher, and the self add dmg will make it even more big2012:<@[Uth]Abydos> If we don't have SI by the end of the year, Im fairly certain I wont be a GM anymore :-p

My calculator tells me that the SB you shot for 900 only had a resist of 15% or so. Is that because you used arrows that he's weak to?

it might be that he is 4L4 maybe not sc'ed or something like this (4L4 is herald stats right now...eventually her screen is from when he even wasn't lvl 50)

I got some also. Saying that scout make more dmg than ranger, its totally wrong, thats all Edit : This one is full temped  2012:<@[Uth]Abydos> If we don't have SI by the end of the year, Im fairly certain I wont be a GM anymore :-p
