And btw, a 10% (points) difference between top and bottom realm, is quite a lot. Same really for the 7% (point) difference between top and middle. It's quite a lot, but I have no clue if anything could be done, because alb groups vs. equal skill/RR mid/hib groups have really no problem performing.

Pretty sure many albs now leveling Wizards for teh Keepraidzergaction. Too sad when they reach end 40´s there are no more keepzergs every evening because everything went back to normal like before the change.

hehe, spot on...
But seriously, if albs are ever to be able to hold/take relics, they really need more played wizards :(

It's no matter of classes it's a matter of realm spirit.

Well... not entirely true :)
Having AoE dps, vs. not having it (or not having a lot of it), really does make a big difference.

I remember albs doing either defence or take, forget which, but they were in central tower, and hibs were outside. Albs had brought a LOT of ice wizards (Griselda leading by a fine example), and it was only because Hibs (which I were part of at the time) had higher numbers and pushed with a very well coordinated TWF/SoS push, that they were ever able to penetrate the wall of pbaoe.

Big relic raids are rarely well coordinated, or at least they have some degree of chaos. And given that, having the highest amount of aoe dps will win you the fight. But I will agree, that I'd rather bring 3 fg's who follow orders, assist, and don't panic, than 6 fg's who run around chasing at will, just spam nearest target, and panic when they are being damaged.

Well handing out RvR information is stricktly prohibited, but if you dont tell anyone in Hib we do not use tons auf ae, we have one cast assist leader and one melee assist leader.
Still we use aoe a lot and its an advantage but bring 1 grp more than the enemy works even better.

Ps: Firewiz are useless dont xp any, I dont have heat resist in my temp

:P

Well, part of the problem, is that albs are always 1 group down due to people killing GK, and another group down due to the roughly 8 people soloing at AMG. That leaves 2-3 groups to do relic raids. Having some aoe in those groups would be helpful in suppressing mids 10-20 thane/shamans/runies, or hibs aoe.

Anyway, not much point in doing relic raids for albs. Last time I checked Excalibur Castle had been turned into a crack-den, with the guards being heavily intoxicated. And I don't even dare checking Snowdonia, really afraid which state that is in these days...

but guessing that albs has no "core" of leaders, who people always will trust is capable of leading things, and so it's near impossible to get people to join a BG.

One of the few leaders albion had was Mark (Griselda). He was always able to motivate a load of people for nearly everything. Since he went to play gw2 alb is dead.

Simple and sad, but it is how it is (sounds like "I think I spider").

lol albs crying for no AE interrupt having a ****** load of sorcs with bolt range AE rupt is kind of ridicoulus. :wall:

and i doubt anyone in the hib zerg sees the benefit of an cast assist leader, i m pretty sure they all think they are smarter than the AL and pick a target on their own.

Well... first of all, not many sorcs around, second you don't get rp's from interrupting without damage and thus most zergling sorcs will nuke, thirdly you want gtaoe or pbaoe in relic fights.
Otherwise I guess mids and hibs would only bring healers/Bards to relic fights, and then let the tanks/single nukers do the job?
There is a reason why people bring aoe dps to keep/zerg/relic fights.

so poor albs will never be able to raid since the dont ve bombs :(
u think mids ve many bombs? they ve the same problem with PBAE and the zerg the hell out of you.
It is no game design fault, it s the albs which are the problem. Eg i there is no real big alliance, at least i never heared of any RvR alliance in Alb and so on...
In Alb there was a strict 8v8 or die stupid casual player mentality for a long time in alb, the 8 mans are gone and the casuals ve their zerg chars in Hib and Mid i guess ;)
