This raid was well-defended because a hunter saw 4fgh exit hpk OG; mostly bad luck for you guys. Even if he hadn't been there, the hib zerg hit my group between nottmoor and blendrake, and everyone listening to /broad would have still had 10 minutes to get to Mjoll before hibs arrived. The previous RR (led by someone from Illuminated Stormriders) got at least the outer door down before anyone even arrived on scene to defend. So show some evidence if you're going to claim that x-realming was the downfall of your raid, rather than bad luck and sloppy organization.

I'm one of the very few people here who refuse to xrealm because i think its cheap, but that gets me nowhere.

Oh well they never succeed anyway :)

So.... join a guild?

Also, every relic raid I have been apart of that is of the secretive nature tends to have an initial wave, and a secondary wave of people once the first wave "secretly" gets to the keep, and the alarm bells start ringing on the defending realm. Especially since you have a skald, you would still be allowed to participate by organizing with the second wave as the first wave spams broad with "relic raid come join!"

Seems all freezed since that "bugfix" Image

The raid I was talking about was not strictly for our alliance, it just started out that way. Basically, a few nights in advance I had been only telling /as members about it. We had about 20 members from the /as show up on that night. We then only pm'd other players from other alliances that we all knew we could trust. We then got to about 36 members. Once we got that many we got rams and took off for the relic keep. When we got within sight of the keep we started spamming broad, /lfg, and any other channel we could think of to get more people to come. We actually had another 1.5 fg's on the way rather quickly.

The advantage of this system is that IF anyone xrealms it will be pretty obvious. If we had got to the relic keep and there was 1-2 fg's of Mids there then we knew sombody in our initial 30+ BG prolly spilled the beans. However, there was not a soul inside the keep. The disadvantage of this is that it would be very difficult to pull this off during peak European times. This really only works during late night American times when population is down since your initial BG is pretty low for a Relic Raid.

Either way, my point is that IF you really do think xrealming is happening then there are things people can do to prevent it. It just takes a couple extra steps to achieve this.
