I'm leveling an ani and at level 9 my controlled shroom in the arb mastery line is conning green to me and the same for my level 9 creeping baseline shroom. They're certainly not doing the damage they should and they're getting owned by blues and yellows. Anyone else experiencing this? Thank you for any help, advice, or comments.

Once you hit 10, the con of your pet will return to blue. They have to make certain levels where your pet scales less with you and 9 happens to be one of those levels.

Your main pet should rarely take the brunt of damage from mobs as your spammable turrets or yourself will be taking aggro/damage. With that being said, when my primary shroom had aggro he seemed to tank fairly well. He has about as much hitpoints as any other pet class afaik.

A little tip: As you level, continue to use the level 5 spammable shroom, do not swap to the level 9 one until your 20-22 as you will be able to place many more shrooms versus using the level 9 spells where you might get 5 or so.

use the commandable attack of your main turret to pull instead of yourself.
