You also seem to forget that the population on this server is not anywhere even close to what it was on live. I always kill players that I know from other realms. Several of the players I kill on a nightly basis are in my guild in Hibernia. When I dont add fights and I dont zerg it is simply because most nights if I zerg or add the people that are out there then I will be left with an empty emain. Mcslicendice, please tell us who your toons are? I'm guessing you either have some toons that are lvl 50 but low RR or you have not even made 50 on a toon and you are talking from experiences in BG's and all you have is your memories of Live.

Last night I was on for 2 hours. It was me on my ranger, 3 other Hib stealthers, and Soxxs on his Hib tank. There was a FG of Albs that were doing gaurd tasks and the only enemy that was in Emain and looking for a fight was Dexx (Alb Inf). Now, if me, the 3 other ranges, and Soxxs all just ganged up and killed Dexx what do you think would happen? He is going to log because nobody will go back out when they are getting killed 5 vs 1. So why would I encourage sombody to kill the limited action we have? You speak about live, but understand THIS IS NOT LIVE!! We dont have the #'s live had and we dont make people play 1 realm. If you want to play "red is dead" go for it, just dont QQ when that Alb you "helped in the name of realm pride" drops his blades when you add and lets that Mid or Hib he was fighting mop the floor with you. You reap what you sow on this server.

i was levelling a lowbob last night in an rvr zone for about 2-3 hours and there was tons of kill spam going on between hibs and mids. Saying there was nothing going on in rvr is just wrong...

Maybe you should move from your AMG bind point and go where the action is?

choosing who to fight and not to fight and ganging up on adds is just RP farming if you ask me and is the bane of this server.

Borog, I dont know when you were out there, but I logged in at 8:30 pm (Central Time) and logged out by 10:15 pm (Central Time) and there was 1 fg of Albs roaming emain and tasking and then there was Dexx at AMG. Ukko was killed a couple times while trying to get to the FG of Albs, and the fg of Albs came by once and killed a couple of the Hib stealthers but that was it for 2 hours that I was on. There was a couple death spams from the RvR dungeon which I dont like to farm and there was one or two death spams at random keeps in Mid and Alb frontier but those are taskers that are running into each other. Are you now telling me that in order for me to get some action I must go out and task now? That seems like good logic to me....

Never mind, the point I was making wasnt about where to find action it was that at certain points in the night action is slow, and if you add/zerg everything in sight all you will be doing is dooming yourself to no action. Well, unless you want to stare at the Uthgard Herald all night and run to every keep that lights up to kill taskers, or just task yourself. Neither of those 2 situations are very fun for me.

That's the time where nice action has started yesterday. With a big fight between amg and mmg, alb vs mid vs hib with more people than only 1 group for each realm, and mulitple add of everything. Not really a tactical fight but really fun

My opinion of how the game should be played should not be dependant on whether I have established myself on this server. I do not have a 50 I am currently xp'ing a few different classes to see which one suits my play style by testing them out in the BG's. I have not built a stealth class as of yet and probably won't for some time due to the fact I am more interested in relics/keeps than I am about RP's. Don't get me wrong, I like fighting but I can honestly say that is not the only reason I play this game. Albion is from what I have seen the least populated realm and that is why I chose to play as one. That was also the reason for why I chose Mid/Lance on live. If you play multiple realms you take away the one aspect of the game that I enjoy the most but I don't dislike you for that. I understand the game is old and the mind set for most has changed but for me it is still the same.

When I do have a 50 or more this ideal will not change and I will not apologise for keeping true to what this game actually is.

..as a side note, how can you people even look at this game like it is a fair 1vs1? With all of the items, classes and races I just don't see your style as logical. A cookie cutter or an FPS would seem to suit you far better. Those are strictly pvp

I think also once you have a toon that takes a 8 minute walk to emain whilst you use 40g in charges and another 20g in pots and find that one fight you've been building up to... and then someone adds, whether it be on your side, or theres. And now you have another 8 minute walk accompanied gold being spent

no, i definitely did not mention tasking...

..as someone pointed out, i guess you logged just as the action started up so you must have missed it.

I know how frustrating it is to log in and there be nothing to do but PvE. Sometimes though, you have to create the rvr instead of waiting for it to happen.

I go sit down in BGs and browse web pages until I'm dead, then come back out and hope the person who killed me expects me back

almost same behavior in emain... but as soon as i/we kill the horse route camper he wont come back, reaching emain and waiting amg to camp and farm stealthers at amg, rinse and repeat.
