Very few encounters have changed so far. The revamped encounters include features and tactics that require things like tinderboxes, new RA's and font of power. I'm not sure if you were there for the Hydra, but suffice it to say, even though the level is lower and easier to hit with fewer people, the encounter as is would not work on Uthgard.

Du you think it will come somewhere next year? Just so that ppl can take a look for SI drops that can be use in Templates ;)
Or its more a long time project for next few years? ;)

I believe only quests and mob abilities are left since we finished testing all the dungeons. :oops:

Hi,

anyone from the staff care to give a quick update in this project? I know we won't get specifics or a release date, but maybe a general ' this and that still needs doing' or 'putting on finishing touches' would be appreciated.

Last I heard it was quests and some mob abilities but that was a while ago so maybe Abydos can give a better update. :D

There are a few quests that need to be logged. Mob abilities, resistances, spells need to be researched. Detailed drop rates are being gathered.

Maybe nobody wants to hear this, but....

I really like the state like it is now - no matter where you go, you find peeps running around - in Mitra, in Plains ... whereever...

If SI will come (which I really loved), people will spread all over the places, and you ll never meet anybody else. From MMORPG to solo game.

I am glad SI will be released on Uthgard,more places to explore,less overcrowded lvling/farming spots,raids to epic dungeons,new drops ---> easier building templates ... /flex

Nope - but it is easier, if you are near by... if peeps are too far away, they'd prefer solo, and not to ride like hours.

It is so nice, if there is a rezz nearby or you get some Theurg buffs ... this won't happen in future.

Maybe this is valid for veterans here, which have seen dragon and legion like 100 times. New drops means - everybody has to build new sc, so status quo is kept - I prefer just to pvp^^

In my opinion SI would be very nice, if server pop would be around 2000 players, but not as it is now.


On live server introducing more and more zones were one of the reasons I quit playing. Lots of zones were just deserted.

SI has some of the prettiest DaOC zones, I aways leveled in SI, the ROG drops while sometimes 'off' -you'd find a blade drop that has Mana focus on it- I enjoyed it immensely. Gala raids were fun as where TS raids.

I'm looking forward to it!

Can we get an update on what is still needed? Last one was in November and looked great. If there are some mobs that need testing etc.. specifying what is needed specifically will help your cause rather than hindering it. SI was released shortly after I started doc and loved it, so I am all for helping if I knew what hasn't been logged yet
