On the one hand I see someone behind this rage delete rant who really got involved in this server and obviously spent a lot of time playing and building a large guild. Sad to see him go like this.

On the other hand I think that the PA bugfix was absolutly overdue. Let me say it from a player's perspective who never played live before Uthgard and thus cannot make any comparisons. I always perceived the combination of high PA dmg + Viper to be way to powerful, but since I didn't know that it wasn't correct until I read about it in the forums I didn't complain really but rather started picking the classes I play by their ability to withstand the omnipresent stealthers. So I ended up solely with speed classes or stealthers with high MoS.

I actually think that with PA fix one of the biggest buzzkills for new and non professional players is finally gone for good and I expect player numbers to actually rise in the long run because of it. Getting ganked by infi/ns/sb over and over again when playing a non caster to me is one of the most frustrating things about this server. My 2 cents.

P.S.: As a never-played-live-player the only class left that feels kind of way too powerful is the ranger.

It's not this "fix" which will increase the population.
Problem is Xrealming --> communication between realm/QQ/troll/flame/etc.
On live, you could do whatever you want, and people handled every situation. Here, no.

People shouldn't be so quick to quit. Take a break and think about it before you delete.

After having some time to think about the barrel change, I've come to the conclusion that it is quite good... for me. As everyone knows I have a great deal of patience when it comes to visiting my house vault after every other fight. I've been hearing a lot of people talking about giving up running buffed because of the barrel change. That makes me happy. I have the perseverance to remain buffed no matter what it takes or how big of a timesink it cuts into my rvr. Most people don't. So thank you, GMs, for giving me another advantage. I really do appreciate it.

PA nerf was awesome too, long time needed.
Keep up the good work.

:)

Yeah, you really need to be fully buffed to kill lvl 17 players xDD. A truly brave and daring act, what strength of will and perseverance of human mind and soul...indeed we are glorious and magical creatures, succeeding in staying fully buffed while faced with so many enemies you can 2-shot...I do believe Alexander the Great could learn a thing or two from you. Humanity has really progressed I think, your DF adventures are a true step forward in our evolution. Like Carl Sagan said: "Cosmos is full beyond measure of elegant truths, of exquisite interrelationships of the awesome machinery of nature"...I guess the great Baman is what he was thinking of....

"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

If he is of the opinion to delete his chars after me saying "lol" "troll" then this is his problem. I'm professional enough and my reaction is the total exception of what happens normally. And you know it! Stop acting like I do this everday!

do you realize anything?
i can totally understand it, but i try to have as less contact with you as possible... so i'm albe to tolerate all this bullshit since there is no real alternative...
