I am going to explain this in detail so we can avoid inane and wasteful questions.

I am playing an Infiltrator. I am level 22. My Envenom is level 22. The poison I am using is also level 22. The issue I am encountering is as such: My level 22 poison (Minor Enervating Poison) cannot be applied to a weapon that I've been using and poisoning since it dropped for me 10 levels prior. The poison will apply to a weapon that is yellow to me, but not to this weapon that is green to me. From what I can tell, that since the weapon is not of a level with the poison, the poison cannot be applied.

Is this factual, or is this a bug?

you shouldbe able to apply poinson to all weapons reagrdless of the weapon level, as long as you have the envenom skill to apply the poison.

Did your old weapon have +envenom on it?

maybe swapping weapons actually dropped your skill to below the level needed to use the envenom you have?

other than that its a bug i suppose.
