in hib or alb 1-3 not raid classes can come to raid in mid ONLY raid classes they wait 1hour for raid classes but they can take sb and start but they wait 1hour for one raid class I dont understand it |

I bet you're the one who wrote the appeal in Blue's sign.
![]() However sb and hunters are not really "group friendly" chars, so it seems pretty normal to me that if you want a fast raid with a functional group you prefer other classes to stealthers. Especially if you miss supporters, very frequent on mid at the moment. There have been raids where my hunter was useful, but it's really one in a million. ![]() ![]() |

Bringing an Assasin class with Viper-3 can be useful to a raid, but most raid leaders want to used a tried-and-true approach with specific classes and don't want to think outside of the box. I think the problem is the majority of casual players don't understand the role each class plays, so the easiest thing for the leader to do is dumb it down for everyone so that even an idiot can't screw it up.
.. and even then it sometimes doesn't work!! ![]() |

...maybe using commas....could be clearer anyway in mid sb and hunter generally play together at amg, or hourse route breifine or atk, but nobody will grp you as sb (sometimes they can grp you as hunter to make a mosbot party ![]() that's all, it's only mid |

Mids usually do raids with the least amount of people possible, so there is a bigger chance for everyone to win. On alb DRs are pretty much a social event, where everyone is welcome to hang out etc.

ah i understand
can go thanes to DR/LR? |

Healers, shaman, warriors, zerkers/savages, skalds are the usual raidclasses.

mid raid grps mostly searching for aotg2 sos skalds. healer war and shamy are blocked from leaders

Yep, first two. DR is different 'cause on mid everyone (me too) prefer the exact dedicated setup. ![]() |

On legion raid every class is ok, and I don't mind having 1 thane in main group or in any other group. As for dragon, If I miss some skalds, I usually take a thane for pad control, it's nice ![]() "He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women." |

the dragon is usually put down by 16 mids at a time when everyone else is at work. So unless you are unemployed or are on summer vacation, good luck getting on a DR.

We kill the dragon at later times as well sometimes, and during the weekend as well. I spam very often for skalds or other classes I miss, so "good luck" comment is not needed because people can attend weekend raids. One thing I do want is good warriors who know what to do, so I usually take someone known to tank with Flumb, but there is almost always room for extra skald or healer. the difference though is that on Alb they put their dragon down with 40+ people because anyone can go, but on mid they stick to their 16 man "perfect" setup.
Like you just said, you use people you know with the exception of one or two slots, which you wont be filling with a hunter or SB. |
