The idea of having an rvr bonus during low population times is great, but why not rotate the bonus zone to mix it up a little? I understand why you would want to limit the bonus to a particular zone (to concentrate the population in one area), but why not randomize which zone gets the bonus? Just an idea. Great job with the server btw, thanks.

I think this would in general be a great idea - make it a 25% bonus during US prime time, a 10% bonus during EU prime time, just to motivate people to move around a bit. Communication between realms is a bit problematic, and usually some people will start in Emain because that's the go-to zone, and then it stays like that the rest of the night. With a slight bonus it may be possible to mix that up a bit.

If you rotate the zones, please exclude guardtasks from the 25% bonus

what about NO bonus for hibernia frontiers? maybe most of time in albion and rest in midgard?

Alb Frontiers could be great, even when some ppl cannot remember where the hotspots of a zone like snowdonia are its a nice idea.

The Albion frontier zone is by far the worst of the 3 though.

At all the Alb Frontier here on Uthgard is quite more friendly than the old live zone (lower agro range and some mobs meele instead ranged attack) But ok its the zone where you can confuse yourself quite fast

What is the gameplay benefit for rotating the zones?

None, but it would make the gaming experience a little more diverse and break the monotony of Emain-only.

can you just rotate the bonus zone to that which has seen the least activity since the last rotation?
that way the RVR action will always go to the far flung regions and keep out of emain, until emain becomes the least used anyway  Blue's "Heat Map" might be useful here. |
