WTB Custom change!

When we are at custom, what about giving bonuses for staying alive and killing others? I remember that feature from UT where you had killing sprees. Lets say you kill 10 players in a row without dying would grant a +10% RP bonus (up to 20%). That bonus could have some non linear curve like log(n).

Tasks are already doing this kind of job(Holding people in rvr)...
But it doesnt challenge people to improve skill or to take randoms.
Rather make random RP bonus for 1 of 3 zones. Lets say next hour you ll get 20 percent more for killing in OG. And 20 percent xp bonus in Emain. Could spread the community in rvr zones.
And tasks like kill Holsten and earn 500 rps would give this server some kind challenge if you dont like some kind of arenas and active statistics which wouldnt be also that bad. There could be NPC in each port keep which would say the stats of best dps in last 2 hours, or best group or best healer or best class etc...

using this method would just give the winning zerg the bonus.

its easier to mass large amounts of kills when you outnumber the enemy.

don't get me wrong i prefer zerg, but others here don't like it

I'm sure this is not in the sense of DAoC. This has no place ingame. You can measure your success in activity with LWRP.

LWRP says how often you play one char in rvr but nothing about skill or success...

Then why there are players with rr6 who have like 71 kills?
And if you add you gain rps, but dont need to be successfull.

Still LWRP means you play a lot, not you are good...

Still LWRP means you play a lot, not you are good...

Well you could also take the kill/death ratio. This certainly not depends on activity. But an under limit would have to be made to not have something like 3 kills 1 death opposed to 1000 kills 800 deaths.

How would you compare this with others?
Still most healing in zone / most damage in zone (in last 2 hours) gives more emotion...

@Finfula;

with all those Custom changes like Horse Routes, Port to Camps/Areas u will just go to another New Frontieres back.

like there arent all ready 1000 Threads about it.

I admit the RvR Problem also for myself when it was easier to have fun
but nothing that Zarkor or you ever will change again.

i like the idea to add some factor so you could compare your "success" in the game with others
