Starting new at Uthgard and I was just wondering which realm is the under dog here? Figured i may aswell join the side that needs as many people as they can get!

According to the herald (statistics), all realms are between 31% and 35%. I'd say pretty balanced. So just pick the side/char you like the most or where you know someone!

Atm, mids have 6 relics, easy leveling. But I wouldn't base this choice on that alone!

Atm:
Hib 34%
Alb 31%
Mid 35%

But this changes weekly, never far from the 33/33/33 balance though!

Whichever you enjoy. No matter which realm you join, if an event is going on 1/3 of that realm will crossrealm to try and steal rps. lol.

Relics change often, and like Gale said, there will always be cross realm switching for RPs but ultimately pick a side you are happy playing with end game. Simply because the more we have for end game RvR the better.

It depends also the class/race you like to play ^^

join midgard. they have relics!

There arent underdog realm. There are enough players for rvr in all realms. The difference is while mids prefer go emain (cause thiss mids have all relics now.), albs and hibs prefer go bgs or pve.

PS: I dontwant start discusions about rvr status.

Why? It IS the realm versus realm forum after all. In my opinion there is no current "status" to talk about anyways because the server is essentially in the same state for years now since emain came out. The only thing changing is proportions actively RVRing, which depends mostly on who has relics.

To the OP, there really isn't an underdog on this server because people have characters on every realm and there isn't much to stop them from just switching back and forth. So the take home message is play whichever realm sounds the most appealing to you.

majority play here for pve, minority go pvp while 50.

Before mids took rks, they were already the most represented realm in pvp.

You have few alb groups and maybe one or two gps of hibs.....

Most are HR and it's difficult after being in thid for LR gps ^^

800 logs on server maysbe 10% in Pvp at 50 !

As hibernian player, I meet more alb pug than mid pug. And Vangonaj told something right, relics influence the rvr behavior. It's mainly since that moment when Midgard took the Relic that now, we can meet midgardians we never saw before ^^
(And whoever the mids are, they chase solo/duo with fg... but it's another discussion :p ahah ^^)

You missunderstud me guys. If you have 4 fg in emain and 0 enemies, or you log or you go relic raid. Mids are doing rvr as they did it ever in this server, with or without relics. Relics have not much influence on mid rvr activitie.

Im disagree with you. As mid player when i go emain, i roam and roam and only meet other mid groups. When i went play to hibernia, i saw lot of players doing rvr, but only in bgs (mostly in thidranki with 2-3 fg every day at the same time).

Wow, when is everyone going to realise that the whole "who is the underdog" or "who is the top dog" in RvR is a roller coaster. For a few months it will be Hibernia. Then for a few months it will be Midgard. Then it will be Albion. This is the way it has ALWAYS been. In 2 years here I have seen it when Albion was the undisputed king of zergs and owning emain. It was this way from April 2 years ago when I started threw about April 1 year ago. At that point Hibs and Mids have taken turns on who owns the relics and hence owns the realm hoppers.

Thats the other thing people dont realise. Every realm has their people that will go whereever it is easiset to get RP's and that is usually the realm w/ the most relics. When Hibernia has them all you will see more random pug's and other groups roaming and the same applies when Albion and Midgard has them.

Anyone saying, "When I play Mid/Hib/Alb all I see is people BG'ing and PvE'ing..." or statements along those lines it bothers me. I know people who play all 3 realms equally and they will all tell you that it happens on EVERY realm. The people who RvR in frontiers on a regular basis usually have toons on multiple realms. They then ride the coattails of whereever its easier. Hence, the situation is always the same regardless of who has the relics. Whoever has them generally has more people out and about and the other 2 realms suffer. This goes on till enough people from another realm decided to go after them and then it all switches up.

Basically, play what realm you want and dont listen to people that say this realm is higher then that realm. 95% of people here play all 3 realms.
