Hi All. Just recently, in the last 72 hours, started playing on this Shard and it is AMAZING! I am from the US and was arround when DAoC launched. I fell off just after Shrouded Isles and never came back. Since then I have dabbled and played almost every major MMO launch that happened. Spending most of my time in WoW of course. I forgot how amazing this game really was and really appreciate the chance to re-live what got me into this genre of games in the first place!
I was hoping for someone to give me a general guide on point allocation for a cabalist as you progress. I have found the builds and like the : 34 Body, 25 Matter, 33 Spririt build. What I can't find is the "keep skill x at 1 below your level, skill y at 2/3, and skill z as high as is left" type of information. I would like to be as good as I can for any grouping and such so as not to gimp anyone else out. Also any advice about leveling in general is greatly appreciated! |

If I were you, and I'm not, I'd say keep Matter at your level for quite some time, especially if you plan on gaining level after level like a leveling demon. Some people put points into spirit to be able to recycle their sim into getting back more power.

get the points into spirit for Convert Spirit ( Use that to eat your pet for mana ) and the rest into Matter. Find a cleric or friar friend to heal your pet and pull lots of yellows and oranges

and max ur +spirit skillbonus for more mana when recycling

Pretty much that. As good as your posted spec is for rvr, it sucks in pve, so get 3 spirit for the pet recycle und put the rest in matter for dmg shield and ae-dot. When you are 50 u can still respec to your rvr spec, but with matter you will get there a lot faster. In case you forgot how it works, either collect some yellow/orange mobs and kill them with your pets dmg shield + some ae dots after the mobs drop to around 60% or pull a lot of mobs and kill them only with ae-dots, though this involves a lot of running... In both cases put your pet on passive to collect the mobs. |
