"We have replaced the druid's tree pet with a black bear. This change should eliminate the problems many druids had with the tree pet interfering with visibility and targeting. "

pet sprinting isn't live like atm, the pet should sprint when its summoner sprints

how it is on uthgard atm:

checked through the patches.zip from zippity with notepad++ (cheers blue) for pets ended with 36 sides in word, and searched for sprint in this. No match. so nothing regarding pets and sprints in there i think

I think this is just a very very basic game mechanic, which on Uthgard is not working. The only patch-related info here is from 1.75:

1.75 wrote: - Pets that are not in combat have also received the new run speed, only when they are following, to allow them to keep up with their owners.

which relates to a change in speed values for running and different chants. But this is a matter of interpretation, but to me it sounds that the intention of Mythic was to allow pets to keep up with their owners, which atm the don't do when sprinting. But I guess it should be easy to test on live

And there is this thread on VN:

http://vnboards.ign.com/hibernia_caster ... 593988/p1/

The consensus there seems to be that pets benefit from speed chants more than their owners, allowing them to keep up when sprinting. Although I would assume that only applies when the pet is set to 'follow' and will break on attack.

yep they don't keep up with me at all :/
they have some super speed later when they are in 3754 mode(too far away what ever)
or at least it looks like it.
e.g when i use the horse route to bolg, i jump off and short before you enter emain Y ways the pet will charge towards you wruuuuum

i will make a test if pets on live can keep up with hr

Edit2:tested it now looks like it would be live like

Edit: and additionally you can see in the second video from my lill live test, pet sprints when i sprint and exactly only when i sprint

Edit3: i still think the sprinting issue would be nice, so when you sprint the pet sprints too, any voluteer to make a trial acc and have a little test with me?
target sprinting, i don't and look what happens
