Title says it all.
I put in an account name and password that I would like to use, select the Uthgard server from the list of servers and click Play. The DAOC splash screen and loading music and bar pop up and the bar loads almost all the way to the end. It then just sits there with the music playing for about 30 seconds before making a BONK sound if i click anywhere on the screen. It says v1.110 in the top left corner, I have ran the DAOC client and installed all of the patches that it had for me. Any ideas?

The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server.

your client is a 1.110 version, you have to roll back to 1.109 if you wanna connect to Uthgard.

You can find the 1.109 dll here:

Aramis is correct. The issue is the game.dll version. Just use his link, download the older version and dump it over the newer one in the game directory.

does anyone have a working link or another place to download 1.109 ? Megaupload doesnt seem to be working at all from what I've seen lately.

Edit : nvm, I got bored and went to test out the tides of war server while i waited for a response, apparently the file needed is the game.dll which they've got hosted on their site for 1.109, time to load up uthgard! :D

I can't connect to uthgard either, but my problem may be entirely different,
my cousins and I haven't been able to play ftp games for about a year, then
a week ago we suddenly could, power went out a couple days ago and now we
can't connect to any of those games again.

Here's a couple screens I took in case anyone needed them.

I am having similar problems. About a month or more ago I did an update patch to DAoC Portal v2.7 when I opened Portal up. After doing that, I have been unable to connect to any server (I regret doing the update and will never do one again lol). I kept getting DAoC Portal needs to close, it wouldn't even bring me to a DAoC screen and I forget exactly what the error said.. So today I finally got around to redoing it as I am bored. However when I uninstalled and re-installed DAoC Portal, it doesn't give me the option of US or EU versions. It automatically goes to US version which I know can bring problems or make DAoC Portal not work. So currently I am using DAoC Portal v2.6 and still can't pick the option of EU version.. Which I can see the DAoC screen come up as if I am loading into the game but then it tells me to hit ESC and I am getting the similar error to the ones already posted. Currently I am running patch 1.111 which I know is not supported. But if I down grade to 1.109 will that fix the problem of it not being EU and me not being able to log in? Any help is greatly appreciated =).
