Hello all, I just made a post in the Alb section and had an idea. I know that Hibs have been stealther zerging AMG for the past several months. I know this makes life for solo/duo/trio's hell. Alb's used to be the realm to do this when I started here. BA would camp AMG with 8-16 people all the time. Maybe with all the stealthers playing we can move towards a true stealther RvR.

On live when I played it was nothing to have 2 fgs of Hib stealthers vs 2 fg's of Mid stealther and 2 fg's of Alb stealthers. I know this type of play is not for everyone, but if you can get all the realms to put together stealther groups of comparable #'s it can be more fun for all. I propose making a date and time, maybe March 10th or 11th, where we ask all the stealther to band together and meet in Odins or Hadrians wall to find out once and for all which realm has the best played stealthers.

Would there be any interest in that? If so I would like to humbly request people do their best to leave non stealthers out of it. Please no druids/clerics/healers hidden in corners. If others are interested let me know and we can hammer out some details as to a date and zone and see what happens.

P.S.- I prefer 1 vs 1 fights, but when you have multiple realms with stealther groups it is fun and does add a twist on the normal stealther warfares. I know one thing for sure.... THE COVENANT WILL COME OUT ON TOP!!!

P.P.S- Blue, I hope this doesnt violate any rules about arranging fights- I'm not listing exact places, just a zone and date to try and push the stealther zergs away from AMG for a day.

well stealth classes are not made for fair fights, i mean their class design is made for a ambush not for a duell. they should attack you anywhere at anytime. sadly on this server you find them only at amg or in df.

the term fair should not exist on this server at all because the class design does not allow realy 100% fair fights. fair is what you belive is fair. everyone got different way to look at it. in my view fair is if you play the game as intended. not searching tricks and traps to get stuff done easier as they should be. sadly to many players only like it the easy way.

I think fairness is aswell to let new players or unexperienced players be part of endgame rvr even if they add (help) your fight.

i guess the guardtasker is the kind of person that is to frustrated of beeing rejected, called names and other rude things by the so called fair players (in my view the tasker is not scum)

when you want fair fights, then search a grp, thats equal in RR, equal in skill and equal in the chars.....
So you see: "fair" doesnt exist.
fair is only what you define...
for your kind of player its 8vs8 and nothing more ... if you fight 8vs8 against a low rr grp or players that are new to this game (yes new players exist really) you call it fair, cause its 8vs8.. When you win, you call the other grp NOOB. Is this fair?
when you want to be fair, why not log out, till the "noob grp" is gone? (HONOOOOOR! ahahahaha) or why not run away from the low grp?
Another example: you have fg running in emain, you see a duo visible, you let them stay, cause you think a ****** like HONOOOOR OR NOT FAIR!
2 minutes later you see another grp of 3 or 4 players.... and attack !! is this fair?
why you think its ok to let duo stay and attack 4 players?
i only want to explain, what the word "fair" really means.

Well ... everybody knows that ALB has the best stealth groups cause of minstrels AM/cc , so i think it will not be fair for the other 2 realms,

our record for me ramboz and evita is 3 vs 12 at amg some time ago ... we just lost evita and when all rangers died it was like me and ramboz at 100% and arround us 12 corpse's of rangers/ns's thinking WTF?
Just imagine what the outcome will be if we make a fg of BA stealthers with Evita's and Hitback's AM3 running ....

Currently, when I'm playing duo/trio, the trend is:
- I meet a fga, I don't change my direction, cause I know they won't attack us.
- I see a fgm far away, I change my direction but see the whole fgm trying to chase us...

So thank you to albs that play it fairly ^^ It's possible ^^
And thank you to DG grp or rr11 mid grp who chase duo's, it's ridiculous and made me really laugh ^^ (and cry sometimes... often... well.. always!!)

at least when holsten is in their grp dg doesn't chase me when i'm solo/smallman
but when they got random rr11s like flump there is the below rr12 rule so they chase me

Ok, you say because hib stealther zerg dominates amg, therefore solo & duo stealth (trio is zerg!) rvr is hardly possible. As a solution, you want even more stealth zergs? How does this help solo or duo stealthers? Wouldn't it make the situation even worse?

Go figure, I make a simple suggestion as a way to maybe get the Hib stealth zerg to move away from AMG for a day and get the group stealthers together for some fun action and instead get flames...

Listen, I dont care about what you consider fair or fun Stormus. I play a stealther, I'm entitled to play it just as I am any other class in the game. Dont give me this "fair" topic since as others on here pointed out is dependent upon your personal point of view.

As far as the Albs having Minstril, well yes, it does give them an advantage but its one that is overcame easily by a well played group. If you are running w/ a frost stallion or ellyl then that means your not stealthed. That makes you an easy target and tells all the other stealthers where you are and where most of your buddies are as well. I would welcome a group fight w/ BA. Even if we lose it will still be fun. This game is not just about winning and losing and getting rp's. I will take a tough competitive loss in a fight over easy rp's any day of the week. When I get done with a fight if my heart is racing and I get a lil adrenaline rush then I'm happy even if I lose.

Please, if you are interested let me know either threw this thread or send me a message threw forums, if not then please just avoid the thread and go on about your business. This is to help show the Albs and Mids that they can compete just fine w/ similiar #'s and on a semi neutral ground as well as to show some of the Hib stealther zergs that it's not quite so easy when people are on semi equal footing with #'s.

Elvis, this is not so much about helping solo's and duo's as it is to show other realms that grouping up to counteract the Hib stealther group is possible. Also, it does somewhat help out the solo's and duo's since they can farm at AMG on this day and hopefully not have to worry about stealther zergs.
