Hello,

This is my first post on these forums as I have joined the server recently. I currently play as a Minstrel (lvl 25 now) in the best guild: Clan Cotswold!!!

I really enjoy adventuring with pets and especially caster pets :D

These can be hard to find so I thought I'd make a list of those I know and have people add to the list. I did find a lot of Minstrel pet lists online but since they do not really apply to this server I decided to start a new one.

I will be adding more pets here as I progress in level. Please contribute (especially for lvl25+ pets!!)

Filidh:
Zone: Camelot Hills (south of the river) and Salisbury Plains
Level range: 7-8
Special ability: Big heals!
Notes: Great healer pet. Heals for +/-100 as you hit 40-50% HPs. I was able to solo reds and purples at lvl6 with this pet!

Devout Filidh
Zone: Camelot Hills (south of the river) and Salisbury Plains
Level range: 8-9
Special ability: Small heals. Bolts (long delays between each bolt)

Wind Mephits:
Zone: Salisbury Plains
Level range: +/- 13-14
Special ability: DD nukes.
Note: These pets are so good you should start using them as soon as you can. I leveled up to 20 with this pet.

Keltoi initiate:
Zone: Keltoi Fogu
Level range: +/- 21-24
Special ability: DD nukes. Casts spell during melee and is not interrupted.
Note: You can start with these at level 19, I only did at 20. I leveled up to 25 with these pet and I could easyly do 1 or 2 more levels with them if I wished.
Special note: best pet I have had so far due to their ability to nuke while meleeing.

Druid disenchanter
Zone: Salisbury Plains
Level range: don't remember
Special ability: self bufs, bolts.
Note: not really usable. Pet constantly buffs himself. Only way I managed to have it follow me was by repeatedly clicking the follow button.

Finally I finished my last level (got 26) in Keltoi because I was sick of the slow XP in DF.

After that I went to Cornwall but did not consider the ghostly clerics as they and the other mobs where all grey. Perhaps I can give it a try since level for a healer pet doesn't matter much.

I also went down in Tepok's mine and Llyn Barfog but I did not see much of interest. Perhaps I missed on something good though.

Keep the information coming!

Thanks

I have already seen this list and a few others.

Problem is they are not accurate for Uthgard.

Many mobs listed with spellcasting abilities do not have them here. In other cases the abilities are different.

For example, Keltoi Initiates are listed to have a DOT and a self-buff but here they only have the DD (I say "only" but in fact its damn good).

By the way, any pets that buffs you or group on this server?
Also, do healer pet only heal you or they will heal your party as well?

The Healer Pets I know do heal all Players in group, but not itself and not the pets of other group members.

yes, by the time u get to the ghostly church, all the mobs there will or infact should be grey for u.. but when hunting as a solo sorcerer, healing pets help u a great deal cuz sorcerers dont have heal whereas minstrels can still get away with a heal song.. :)

and if you skill your sorc to mind (charming line) you lack damage.
so you can either go for making damage self or charm a pet that is doing damage with you

sorc can pick alot more mobs for pets than can minstrel here for some reason and there is no comparesen really for 2 reasons:1 mint can charm a higher lv pet depending on his ra's an lv of instrument. 2 because minstrels caster pets were nerfd here as well. so end result make a sorc he has much more use for a pet anyways.Thats my take on it anyways i have a mint thats like my wizy and infy and scout=they are not groupable and they are not soloable so they are not played.

I want to add the Ellyl Sage (lv 53-54) in Lynn Barfog. Excellent fire DD and 450+ heals.
