There are many Ppl on Uthgard have a fair behavior "sometimes".

DG for example is often quiet fair to us , not everytime but often.
The question is, why are they not doin this to you ?
Even Spakka and his guild let us have a fight and do not add us always.

It's just ignorance to the real state of RvR to say : there is only Rare who behave fair.

aahahahahahahah <3 Xedie ... and no rare is/was definately not the only fair group, but when we were running guild groups (which is several month past anyway) we were always trying to play fair. And sorry but mentioning DG as a fair guild just kicks you out of such discussion

if we are treated fair we can be very fair too, ask warriors of grün or requiem.
Rare addet us so many times (they add more than black adders on stealther when you are not around bloody, sry to say that again ), they should not expect anything from us.

But i agree you can never be sure about our behavior, depends on so many thinks... who is the leader of the day, how that leader feels towards the enemy grp, the menstrual cycle of the girl in grp, if galandriel is part of the grp...

if u need to put our gameplay in a darker light to keep your own light shining a bit, just do it. ppl that actively did rvr when rare was doing, know how we treated them, and we did the same with DG, we never fought fire with fire and never will, ofc there can be exceptions which are even mentioned in our rules, but still we are and were being a fairer guild than DG could and can ever dream off.
the 2 guilds you just mentioned holsten were only playing for what, 4 month? wog and req. that was when rare "rarely" was able to set up guild groups, and i also been playing other games during that time. sad that a req member gotta talk so bad about my guild now cause i know we have always been fair towards eachother, just ask your guildmates to refresh your memorys. Same goes for WoG but i doubt u'll find ppl saying we treated them unfair. Other thing with DG. What you think or say about my guild or anything else is sth i dont care about, as u can see by 90% of the forum posts and the ingame behaviour that u lack sth that is called a brain.

Don't get me wrong, i didn't want to talk bad about Rare, always liked the way they treated us, and the majority of other Players.
But the Forum post i've quoted in the Post before was just arrogant and ignoring the overall good comunity of Uthgard.
To use your words, it let Rare shine lighter by darkenign all others, all i wanted to say is that no one is perfect.

I never said DG is fair, but gettin added by them for about 5 RR's without adding them, changed their behavior and they started to not add us anymore (most of the time :p ) .

yep that quote u mentioned by llithium is definately false i admit. ofc we were not the only ones trying to play fair though besides Req and WoG theres not much i could think of that were doing it in a serious manner but more like sporadically, and DG surely doesnt belong to one of those, sorry -.-

Well kind funny Griselda, because I know your situation very good. Some month ago I was the one who said that my guild is not adding and you were the one who said we do.

I think the problem of being fair is, if you want to be really a fair guild. You should have only player that plays in guildgroup.
I can say, when I lead a guildgroup, I was like 95% - 99% fair when I lead a guildgroup, but there weren't many people that cared about that.
People often see what they want to see, even more if they wipe to you. So if your members running in pug groups, for example Flump and 7 Mularn Protectors and they add. The group will maybe turn into Flumpgroup or guildpug with serveral RR11 in which have to be from DG or GDRW.
Or Zerging, we had in the last week Ally Zergs and we killed a fg Requiem with it, but well thats the game.
On the other side if you try to don't add and running in emain, inc a fight and are not sure if that dwarf healer at the end of the clipping range which have 3 firbolgs on it, is a mid or alb and you inc. The other will say after that fight they added us, we will add them now, too or you don'T go our of a fight one time. Well there are so many reason why player add your fights^^.
A other point is that there are so many different between fair play and fair play. For Requiem for example it is not to add at all. For other it is just not to add the fight between the own realm and the others.
Some add a fight after one group is done, other let them reg before.
Many see btw also not really a different between 1vs1 and 8vs so if you add them in 1vs1 they add you 8vs8.

So what to do with that? For me it is like, I don't care so much about the others anymore, because you cannot even talk on a good level with the most player, how you should communicate with good without talking.
A important other point, 8vs8 isn't that good for Uthgard, so if a low RR random groups wipe the third time to high RR SG why we shouldn't help them one time or build a zerg with them? So do more for the realm, then for the enemy realm? Sounds silly, but well that should be a part of the game, too.

Well, for me it is like, there won't be really fair play in Emain anymore and that is good for uthgard, but not so good for the challenge in the game. That would maybe better if there where zone for every playstyle, but for now the player number in rvr is just to less and many player had to think then about their fair play style before something change.

So what to do with that? I will still try to play fair against some groups, but I won't take it that serious and try to don't take it if I get added and try to give the most groups a chance to change their playstyle. So, I its like, I maybe would add even Reqiuem, if they wipe the third time a random group from Midgard, which have clearly no chance and I wouldn't care if they do the same, at least the next fight would be at Drum Ligen, to meet them in 8vs8 again.
Maybe the next day the situation will be a other one and I even won't add them if they fighting a adding Alb group.
Keep it a little bit dynamic and look to the own realm, too. The problem, will be just that this don't gone work with the most groups, but well, zerging is also a kind of challenge .

I've always loved this "add" discussion.

The people who complain about, are the same who think it's def. a fair fight when their RR10 guild group crushes a RR4-5 pug group... kinda sad.

On Live I loved the constant danger of being added. It meant you couldn't just shut yourself inside a box, containing you and the other group, you had to constantly pan around to check for other incoming.
Was a pain to be on receiving end of an add, but to get upset is like being upset when someone takes the last piece of praline chokolate. Yes he's a douche, but you'll get a piece another day.
