Try a different game.dll. I found my version of 1.09 here and it works fine for me. I also found the version mentioned by Austerim here. After loggin in the loading screen stays ages, when I hit ESC DAoC Portal shows the following message: The client could not connect to the server specified. Either it is not online, or you used a wrong ip/port. If these are not the reason, you may try to update your client to an EU version, as this error is also displayed if the client is not supported by the server. Ping google.com: success And idea how to solve? I cant set the client to EU via DAoC Portal.

It is a simple task on par as turning on the switch on the wall, or at least it should be among young people of western countries If you have a client updated to the last version (i.e. not working), just simply find the game.dll file in its folder and erase it. I've got an American Trial version upgraded to 1.110 which I don't use with Portal and Uthgard. I've also got an old EU version updated to 1.109, which works with Portal+Uthgard, but I've got a great problem: I cannot improve the skills of my characters...When I level up and go to the trainer he looks at me, and I can see a little window appears on the upper side of my monitor...but it is totally "invisible", the only things I can see are the "close" and "move" buttons... Somebody told me to downgrade to 1.95, but there's no way to do this...the link on the other post which explains how to downgrade is no longer active (just because EU site is closed...), and there's no way for me to downgrade...can anybody help??
