Hello,
I'm returning to the DAOC after 3 years. I was thinking about creating a berserker or warrior (or maybe caster - I know that i was undecided.) and I have a question about this classes. I'll play for the first time with Midgard side. For this reason, I could not decided which character do i start with ? Sorry for my bad english. ![]() Thanks, H. |

stick with zerker. Easy to lvl, not difficult to play and has the best chance to find a rvr grp at 50.

Well my first character on Midgard was a warrior and I love playing him. He can solo well and groups love having warriors too.
One thing I wish I had done was to make my warrior a tailor. Whatever class you decide to level the fastest make him a tailor so you can salvage all the equipment drops you get and build up money to buy a house. Plus with high metal working you can repair your gear also. |

i am the last one to disagree that warrior is also a fine choice

@holsten, @Zyviel, Thanks for your help. I started to play with Berserker. I have one more question. What's the best RVR spec for Berserker ? I know, I ask lot of questions.

Huhu,
Depend on what you want. You can do 50 Axe/Sword/Hammer and 50 LA Rest Parry. Axe and Sword do a little bit more dmg then hammer. Axe have a nice front chain if a enemy face you. Hammer have a backsnare so the target speed will slow down if you hit it. Good for beginners, especially because you don't need a expensive armor. If you want to try a more difficult playstyle then you can go split spec. For that you skill into three weaponsline like hammer, axe and leftaxt. To play good with that spec, you need to know which dmg type is usefull against which armor. So a good spec if you are use to play ddler in RvR, but maybe a little bit difficult for beginners. Its not rly that hard to memorize, and you deal a good chunk of additional damage against most enemys (at least 10% less resistance, or even 20% if you switch from resitant to vulnerable damage type). So yeah, Splitspec is pretty much the only viable spec if you don´t wanna gimp your char on purpose to play a little easier.
