December is upon us and winter is coming to Uthgard. 2011 has had some big updates for Uthgard: Player housing market explorers and the later addition of being able to buy directly from them, the classic RVR dungeons Marfach Caverns, Dodens Gruva, Hall of the Corrupt and Summoners Hall, numerous bug fixes and quest additions and new faces, with some departures as well. We thank all former staff members for their contributions and wish them the best going forward.

Recently Aramis and Rajnish have joined the ranks of the staff as trial GMs. They will both assist with support, worldbuild and quests. Aramis hails from Germany while Rajnish is from North America.

Players should be aware that they need to prepare for war! On December 18th at 8:00PM CET (2:00 PM EST or 11:00AM PST for our North American players) Uthgard's annual Christmas event will be held. In addition to the RVR-centric event we will open up the Uthgard Christmas zone for some fun. If you want to play in this zone, please download the Christmas mod and install it using DAOC Portal. Gather in Mag Mell, Cotswold, and Mularn prepared to do battle with the enemies of your realm and unwrap this year's Christmas surprises!

Yeah, even if for players fixes cant be quick enough Ty for all the time you spend for making Uthgard a better server. Keep it up and prepare some big snow balls!

Thanks for all the work you GM's do to keep classic DaoC alive and this server going strong. Regardless what anyone says to the contrary, without your dedication the world would be a more unhappy place I hope Uthgard will always be around. Merry christmas everyone

Thx for your welcomes guys, i'll try to be a GM that people like to think of as a fair GM to all players. Uthgard has one of the best comunities that i know off and it's a great honor for me to serve you.

Sorry guys but that event was a mess from a Midgard PoV, ask 100 Mids to defend - which is usually quite hard for this realm - in a 4 meter square room against 300 hibs and 12 500 Albies ... no fun at all, It was free RP session.

So don't be surprised if all Mids get to the relics

And concerning the Xmas zone / quests as I really enjoyed the Halloween event, this one just can stand comparison
