better ns and dot... :P

Crap damage. You will have variance on lifetap ( unless you are RR16 :D )

I don't see any reason to gimp your damage.. Blue NS is enough, and DOT in RVR.. lol
Don't forget that cabalist is the only real ranged damage dealer in most alb groups.

I am finishing lvl up my cabbie and thinking about respec to trispec for RvR. What is your opinion for this tri-spec?
45 Body (high enough to minimalize variance when tapping and minimalize spell resists, highest specced lifetap nuke)
19 Matter (35% nearsight)
22 Spirit (1st body debuff (-15% body resist))

The spec lifetap has the same damage as the base one (even lower delve if I remember well). With 34 body + 11 (SC) + 5 (RR6), you would already have no variance at all. At RR4 (out of thid), you will have maybe 3 or 4 damage variance, which you won't even notice anyway.
It won't help with resist rate either, it's even quite the opposite because the spec nuke is level 45 while the base nuke is level 50. In theory the spec lifetap will be resisted more often than the base one.

The spec lifetap can be fun to kill in solo with MOC3 (90% hps returned ^^), but it's really not worth lowering the other lines for group RvR.
I am assuming direct control.

34/25/33 is by far the best cab spec on uthgard

unless you run 2 cabs or something

The usual caster RAs :
- aug dex 3 (or 4)
- serenity (minimum 2)
- purge (1 at low RR, 3 at high RR)
As trispec you will most likely need mastery of focus. I would aim for mof3 asap.
After those you can get damage like wild power and mastery of magery.

Also some cabalists love to go for jugger2 as it seems bugged as hell and completely OP combined with RR5 :D
I am assuming direct control.

Purge3 for the group nearsighter on a server without cure is a huge advantage:) maybe not a necessity but it is a very decent choice.
I am assuming direct control.

The fact that it is broken makes people rage even more. Just another bonus.

You know that people would just laugh at you for having jugger on caba on live right? It's only good because of flawed uthgard mechanics regarding resistrates on higher lvl mobs and how the mob scale with jugger incorrectly.

I don't understand what point exactly you are trying to argue with me. Why are you mentioning live? What sane person would waste RA points on Jugger when they have Master Levels.
