When is Uthgard going to take action to fix Hunters?

Seriously, I wanna play mine but he sucks.

Fully SC'd and I get rolled by infs in df gear.

I'm guessing that since the top hunter is on the 7th page of the top players(#311. lol! Seyha) they are the same as when I stopped playing last year?

How is it not obvious to Uthgard staff that they are _broken_?

Just because you implement them to follow a certain _official_ Mythic patch standard doesn't mean they don't suck. They are without a doubt the worst class IG.

No one wants them in groups, that is pretty obvious by the numbers. They serve absolutely no purpose in their current form except to feed RPs to enemy realms and aggravate their PCs.

If you aren't going to attempt to remedy the major imbalance, you should just delete them as a pickable class so that they won't curse any new players. I honestly thought they were different here, had a helluva fun time through bg. But they don't scale at all past 45. Its like they go from stacking up decently at 45th to the worst class in the game at 50th.

Awaiting a response, cause I'm just gonna delete Adamaxian if there is no plan to fix Hunters.

No way, can't argue with shield stun.

At least scouts break the top 100.

I agree they suck, but not worse than Hunters.

The bugfix you are waiting for is called "defense penetration" (by weaponskill) and "mob (and pet) damage fix" and "procs on bows".

To put it in a nutshell: Hunter suffers from bugs that are NOT class specific, like Defense Penetration or mob dmg. There won't be any Hnter specific Changes/Fixes.
Blue is actually working on Mob-dmg. I guess defense penetration will take some time, or won't come overall, because there are no formulas...

No need to bugfix "proc on bows". Bow procs on live were implemented by Mythic with the release of ToA (artifact and leg. bow procs). Before, bows would not proc even if you put procs on them. Even with ToA crafted procs would not work on bows for a while. Since we are aiming for a pre-ToA setting, I guess you will not see this.

One could argue that this was a bugfix done by Mythic, not a feature-implementation.
For bugfixes, there is no version-limit on Uthgard. (see #8 here viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13996)

- All Hunter melee skills base damages have been increased "behind the scenes". The specific melee skills involved are sword and spear. Hunters will now notice that they do more damage every time they attack an opponent with these weapon types. Hunters now do more base damage than the other two Archer classes, and will not need to do anything to take advantage of this change - it will happen automatically every time they hit with a weapon.

seems this maybe not implemented, cause its a "behind the scenes" change i bet its about damagetable, but i dont think that this is changed. in daocpedia hunter is in the damagetable 0.1 higher than scout/ranger in melee.

well and there is still the answer of grabbag that evade is reduced due the amount of attackers (in thos old patch days)

- Spear Hunter is on the same level as Skald, I think its correct (higher than the other 2 archers).
- Hunters Pet doesn't reduce enemies evade on uthgard.

There is a difference between decreased missrate and evaderate. Not too many pve mobs can evade.

That's what they told me 2 years ago.

Whatever. I deleted him, so its not an issue anymore. Nevermind that he had 1132 armorcrafting.
