1.110 Support information *Updated*
|
Did what Borog's original post stated to do (Thanks to Borog for hosting that file btw!) However it seems to have no affect. Client is still runnin 1.110 and I can't get into Uthgard. ![]() |
|
All you have to do is replace the 1.110 game.dll with that one and it should work. It did for me anyway.

Hahahahah Borog you're to great man. Yeah I upgraded the ram a while ago to 1 GB (max for this MOBO) and a HD streaming card(low and behold it does nothing for graphics) I will TRY to DL the latest DX and see what happens. And if all else fails... anyone selling a laptop? ![]() -Ost --Beware, Qosmic will be in the fronts soon enough, FREE RP'S!!!!!!! Hello,
I'm not sure if my problem is related to the OP statement but... I played shortly on 11/3/11 and had no issues logging in. On 11/4/11 I can't connect to Uthgard and I get a message saying service is not available. I logged into IRC and it says server is online. I can ping to Uthgard and get a reply. I only play on Uthgard using DAoCportal v2.4b and my client version is 1.104. I deleted my game.dll file and used the one that Borog had provided but I still get "service is not available". Has something changed in the last 24 hours that would prevent me from connecting? |
|
Any progress on a more official solution?

We are working hard for a solution. It is the top development priority.

Awesome, thanks.

DONT Delete your old game.dll, just move it in some Folder (create 'dll_1.xxx' folder as example, where xxx is your version number), then download the new version, put it in a new folder too ('dll_1.109'), replace your old game.dll (place it in folder where your camelot.exe is) with new one and run camcheck.exe in same folder. This should update your DAoC to the newest Pendragon Version.

yes it would, and having the newest Pendragon version is why people can't connect to the server in the first place.
Uthgard supports clients up to and including v1.1109 Pendragon and now live servers, support client v1.110 only Do not update until there is a news announcement saying it is safe to do so, however, by all means backup your game.dll before using the new v1.1109 file so you have a backup. |
|
You must update to Pendragon and replace with 1.109 ![]() Xai - L50 Caba | Elleri - L50 Pala | Ellesar - L50 Arms | Inquisitor - L50 Cleri

It works. Thank you guys very much for taking time to help me. Very much appreciated!!

Hey all - I sent this to a forum member but just in case he doesn't get around to it, thought I'd post it here...
From what I can tell, my netbook should be able to run DAOC just fine if in at least the very least 600X800 or w/e that lowest resolution is ![]() --------------------------------------------- So, anyhow, I have a problem with ATTEMPTING to run DAOC. -------- Error -------- WhenI run Portal - I get a "Renderer creation failed" message. I cilck "OK" then I get a windows system error saying .dll failed to load correctly. -------- What I've done to fix it --------- -Opend daoc portal folder. -Took out current .dll and placed on desktop in case we are able to use it later -downloaded the .dll borog was/is kind enough to host for us -placed the .dll inside the daoc portal -patched through daoc portal (think this is wrong and I will patch with camtest.exe when I get home) -Still get renderer error, followed by faulty .dll ----------------------------------------------------- Notes****** -Didn't patch through camtest.exe - I was thinking that this would jsut override everything I just did? -I'm running windows 7 Starter version, do you think this could keep me from runing the game? Appreciate all the help you guys provide, look forward to responses ![]() -Ost If you become irate, angry, wrathful, furious, ireful, wroth or indignent by anything that I say to you or just in general; you should always remember, it's only because I care that I pay attention in the first place.

If this is in the wrong thread feel free to move it sorry
I can run the game fine with Bob's UI and 1.109 game.dll until I try to access the training window. Does anyone know a fix for this or just wait time for and update to Bob's UI (or does anyone know the highest version of the game.dll that will work to fix this issue)? The window opens fine under my old 1.103 game.dll. Haven't tried any newer game.dll files because I can't find them anywhere(except for the 1.109 and 1.110 but that one is having issues anyway). Thanks |
|
glaslyn any pre-1.105 UI will need to be updated for the new trainer window.
Go to your Dark Age of Camelot\ui\custom folder and rename the training_window.xml to use the default one in the atlantis folder, or update your training_window.xml |
