I'm curious as the reasoning that this is not allowed. I can't really think of an instance where this would create imbalance in RvR or enough imbalance for it to be an issue. I can't imagine 8 mans dropping these on every inc, or that they would be of that great a help.

Allowing them to be used in the frontier would also entice more XPers to come out to the frontiers. Not much more of an enticement than what is already there, of course, but I anything that entices folks to go out there to xp should be considered.

I know it goes against the "classic" feel that they can't be used in the FZ, but it might be worth considering changing this. Anyone have a reason that this might be an issue that I haven't considered?

Shrooms on AMG, shrooms on keepraid/def, shrooms anywhere :D

Long version: Animists with high sere, pom and campfire can basically spam high-lvl shrooms non-stop while not in combat.

Won't come.

Tinderboxes are a custom feature for uthgard and does not fit to our aimed and current patchlvl anyway.

So be happy about the not so long lasting custom fix to have tinderboxes available at df RvR zone.

It does not influence the Open Field RvR, but Healers in RR defs that stand around a lvl 45 campfire with pom+sere can spam ****** of heals ;) sere5+pom4+campfire and you can nearly permaspam your small grpheal :D

custom is something Uthgard only. Like Taj1/Taj2.

Custom on this server is everything that doesn't fit to be livelike on aimed patchlvl (e.g. custom features on uthgard thread)

Not that I don't think some of the things mentioned would happen, but the overall good of such a change would surely outweigh the potential bad of having healers and animist spamming more than they can already with Serenity (who actually runs with Serenity 5 in RvR?), Pom, and pots. I honestly don't believe the only thing holding back heal class and animist spam from being completely OP is the introduction of Tinderbox use in the frontiers.

Anything to bring more people out the FZ should be considered.

I can see campfires bringing players to level in the fronteirs more... but I really dont think its a good idea to have during RelicBattles or other siege warfare as mentioned above.
