Im running windows xp and have updated all my drivers. Ive tried over and over installing classic uthgard patch through the modmanager and it says that it patches buth then when I log in I get a system message in chat box that says "You have not downloaded our classic patch" etc...

I've done this a couple dozen times by now and wonder if there's something I'm missing.

You only have to do this to do the patches. a regular daocportal launch after patching is fine.

I've tried disabling antivirus. No change.

I have a problem with the mod manager. When I click on it it says, "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Access to path 'mods/' is denied.

Then there is a button that says Details. And a bunch of mumbo jumbo. Any ideas?

Have you installed more than one client and if so are you sure the client that was patched is the one you are trying to log on with?
