Hello,

I just recently started playing on the server and I'm having a very odd problem. When I try to sit to rest or even to log out I stand up again seemingly at random without pressing any keys or moving the mouse at all. I will also occasionally sidestep to the left, also seemingly at random, interrupting spells (which takes it from annoyance to problem). Is this something that others have experienced or is it solely my problem? It has occurred to me that it could be a keyboard issue (I'm on a notebook), but I've played other games and never experienced any issues.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Edit: this problem persists across characters and realms.

e2: Possibly relevant: when autorunning my character will stop autorunning seemingly randomly as well, it's likely related.

mouse/keyboard broken? pull the plug one by one. if it still happens ... dunno ^^

Not that easy on a notebook

Try to open a text editor and write some text and you will see if your keyboard makes some wierd entries.
When the keyboard works well maybe try to run "camelot.exe" maybe it's a problem with the game itself.

oh overread it ^^ than maybe it the touchpad. did you try to deactivate it? or maybe its a driver problem, mine is vulnerable for it

I dismantled and cleaned the keyboard and it seems to have solved it. It wasn't very dirty and everything seemed in working order. I'm still baffled by the randomness and imperceptibility of the keystroke it must have been because it never showed up anywhere else and when I did strafe is at a speed impossible to manually slow myself down to. Weird!
