Teleporterkeeps OF: whhyyy they are like they are ????

Okay, after several times of groups kiting back to their telekeeps to benefit from the uberguards that cover their backs and if you try to get them you´ll die instant anyways i wanna know this now.
First people will ask: Why do you fight near a telekeep ? Well, cut the rvr-area to amg-mmg-breifine-and so on, because even higher rr grps choose kitedirection to their telekeep and they got enough backup to kite from amg until their telekeep. Afterwards you have to read excuses like " There is no other place we could kite" or " Should we kite out of the map? ![]() ![]() So, I´d like to know who decided to make these telekeeps the safest place on this server ? Because memories + videos on youtube prove something different http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG5Utr83tzY and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qygHrZBNlNE -there is no deathline, people could rush inside the keep actually -guards don´t deal as much dmg as on uth. On live they could outheal the dmg made by guards for some time. Check how much % the guy lost after a guardwizzard bolted him... far from one- or twohit like on uth... The PK barrier has been a discussion yet to be resolved internally. As far as guard damage, do not forget this video shows TOA time when players got extra AF, HP, CON, etc.

Still, even with those additional 300 Hitpoints (yes, its not more than that with ToA only), you would be 3 shot by guards. And ppl in this video are able to easily charge into the Porterkeep, and they stay alive there for a loooooong time. So theres no way those guards did the same damage they do on Uth.

Dont you think Uthgard has way more important things to be fixed? Its a porter keep and not ment to be raided, dont be stupid and fight near porter keeps and you ll be fine. Thats basic daoc sorry guys...

are you suggesting to weaken the guards? i dont see how this actually benefits anything towards the server as a whole. do you just want to charge in and at least kill some innocent afk person while you see that emain is dead? i would much rather see more important bug fixes than see this useless one. |

I'd hate to go back to a 15 minute port timer. If that was made like it supposed to be.

Innocent afk people that use the porterkeep as their parking area ? Okay what about a godmode for people that have to take horse to get to the main rvr-zone in less than ~10min, they´re just poor innocent solos ![]() If porterkeeps were rushable people of a defending realm could take back their relic by a wellmade rush, theoretical. No idea if it ever been made on live but at least give the oppossibility for it, another + for fixing it. Formerly known as

whats the point of rushing into a PK? the reason why it you should rush into a PK is to cide right? giving the AI to blow you up is what you wanted?? you just want that to benefit yourself as much as possible so that you can cripple the guards and give yourself the opportunity to kill some definite afk solo ![]() |

but this ends in a new bug if an enemy runs with low hp into guard wipe taxy we got 0 rp because of much guard dmg ![]() Back to NF, NEW RA.

I don't believe that is a bug but you're welcome to try it on live.
