I'm running an ATI 6970 with 3x24" Monitors capable of running 5760 x 1080. The Video Card supports EyeFinity and when I enable this feature everything runs but the game resolution gets messed up. It's like trying to play soccer while looking through binoculars =)

So I've disabled EyeFinity and what I would like to do is run the game in 5760 x 1080 however since the monitors resolution is now only 1920x1080 I can only choose that as my top option.

I've looked through all the configuration files I could find and can't find where the Screen Resolution is set. I've created a Portal Shortcut and was wondering if there was a switch I could use on the shortcut to load the game in that higher resolution?

Anyone have any advice?

Cheers..

Luxuuuuuuuuuuuuury problem.... :D If you can't resolve your problem, would you consider giving one or two of them to me? :)

Anyways, good luck in solving that issue, please post a screenshot once you get it working!

have you tried looking in the AMD Vision Engine Control Center for options that could solve it ? Also there is a way to add custom resolutions, that may work in daoc. Here is a link to the topic.

If you dont know how to use regedit, dont do it. If you do, make the change you want, then restart.

Check out your "user.dat"

screen_height=1080
screen_width=5760

I can't find my user.dat, character.ini or screenshot files since the latest patch.

In order to better support Windows Vista, we have changed the locations of some files used by the client.

Please note the new updated locations for these files (the old locations may still contain copies of these files, but they are old and no longer updated by the game client so do not use them for backup/restore purposes):

The user.dat and character.ini/.ign files can now be found in the following location:

Windows XP, Windows 98 and Windows 98 Second Edition:

• C:\Documents and Settings\<windows login name>\Application Data\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\<LotM or TOA or etc.>\

Vista:

• C:\Users\<windows login name>\AppData\Roaming\electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\<LotM or TOA or etc.>\

Note: The “Application Data? folder for XP and earlier, and the “AppData? folder for Vista, are hidden folders.

The debug.log, errorlog.txt and your screenshots can now be found in the following location:

Windows XP, Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows 95
• C:Documents and Settings<User>My DocumentsElectronic ArtsDark Age of Camelot

Windows Vista
• C:Users<User>DocumentsElectronic ArtsDark Age of Camelot
Uthgard till 2003!

Hi, I wanted to revive this thread to see if anyone has found a way to run this game on 3 monitors without the "zoomed in" Field Of Vision.

I've been casually trying to find a solution for a few years now without any luck.

Anyone have any insights on whether this is possible?

Thanks for all your help.
