anyway a 3 day ban is much like a pinch

There is too much evidence to support the idea that GMs are doing things for personal reasons and not following the philosophy of discipline. You discipline to deter and control, not to satisfy yourself.

I beg Uthgard to review current GM's actions as well as make a full explanation to the community. Most of us wish to obey rules but also be treated fairly and we can expect neither when there is a lack of communication from the staff.

A good start would be knowing what EXACTLY the rules are since they're as clear as mud. :gaga:

Well its easy like that : there is a server u dont have to pay for...chars / items etc. u got NO rights on at ALL...and u got : the staff...now mix that with bugs...crossrealming...irc ( wich is crossrealming with bad graphics )...unclear rules and u´ll get : Uthgard

PPL do NOT know how to play fair here...cuz they dont want to know...implement an own irc channel for all realms is the ULTIMATE invitation for crossrealming and arranged rvr.

baning for using this tool of "wow great fight, lets meet again in OG/HW @ loc XYZ" is just another joke from staff and a punch in the face of the community...

CLARIFY RULES !
WARN PPL ! ( they often even do NOT know they r breaking rules ATM )

and most of all...get friggn consequent...finally...if u dont want crossrealm...get rid of irc...implement realmchance timer...

( oh wait ppl will just switch to teamspeak to do arranged rvr...shame on me I didn realize it earlier...)

I'm just pointing out that Pbuck said very clearly that he changed his IRC nickname with the sole purpose of fooling others ... and in a certain way I understand the ban: IRC should not be used for tricky infos crossrealm.

I don't really know if GMs are going personal with somebody ... actually I don't care, but everytime I read something like "too much evidence" without any evidences posted, i just laugh.

Using IRC to state movement of zones isn't against current rules so it isn't crossrealming nor does his name appear to trick anyone--his intent and his words were easy to understand and did not mask anything.
If a GM found it questionable, they could have warned him or asked him to change his name.

For everyone who don't know the RvR information Rule ->

§4.5 RvR-information
In general and especially in the IRC channel, publishing of RvR information for organizing or arranging fights in RvR is strictly forbidden. RvR information is defined as information that gives other players a benefit in RvR. This includes especially informations about numbers and locations. The decision whether it is an illegal RvR information or not lies in the discretion of the staff. Violation of the rule may result in punishments.

GM's enforce the rules. Giving hints on direction/location and count in IRC is RvR information according to §4.5.

Just avoid spreading such information in IRC and there will be no problem.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

I just want to add that we are not responsible for players not knowing our rules.

The players are! If you play on our server, use our IRC channel, use our forum.

Read our rules and follow them. It can't be and never will be our job to read the rules aloud for you every night before you go to sleep.
