I have been having some coversations with several people and I would like to know how this would work.... Recently a hib stealther was able to follow a alb group down to legion. He then picked up a good amount of loot after they killed Legion. I was told that this loot would not be usable by any hib players since it is considered "an alb item". If that is the case then how does this work? Can anyone pick up loot that people from other realms kill? If that is the case, then can we use that loot? I'm hoping to get a reply back from one of the GM's on this so I know for sure a definitive answer on this.

Loot rules are bugged on Uthgard. A tracker# already exists for it.

Yah, I just looked up a couple threads about it and all I can see is that "It will be fixed..." Nothing else on this. I know you can still steal loot in RvR zones since it was just done less then a week ago. What I am wanting to know is if the loot is usable? For example, one of the items looted was the Body Necklace. The stats on this necklace are the same from realm to realm, but could I still equip it and use it for the s/c charge? Another item taken was a reaver whip, so I know that cant be used since Hibernia doesnt have whip's, but on other items that are not "unique" to a realm can those still be equipped and used?

It depends on the item and the class restriction on it.

FYI: after the hib stealther obtained the loot (which included a S/C charge item) he proceeded to log to his cleric (name is a 3-letter word related to something a cleric can provide) and brag about his deed. I heard that he appealed and a GM changed the item so he could use it.

So it is useable then? I am referring to the Body Necklace Blue. He is trying to sell it and I might buy it if it works, but I'm not gonna spend lots of plat for an item that wont work for me. Hence the post....

the lootrules are very buggy, but many people abuse this and NO punishment happens due this Bug-abuse or blue?

Lol, kk, I will try and be as clear as I can for the answer I need.... A Hib stealther got a Body Necklace by looting it after the Albs killed Legion. I just need to know if the Body Necklace is equipable for me as a Hib. I dont want to buy it if its not usable. I have heard different things on this so thought I would clear it up here on forum's. Lol, not having the best of luck doing that so far

Logged as a bug yet stealthers abuse. The tracker wouldnt exist if it wasnt a legitimate issue.

Why are the people abusing this not getting banned. If people abuse other bugs they certainly suffer the penalties. Consistency isnt too much to ask for is it?
