I'd just like to add that I'd love the alliance to get a few more active RvR players for the evenings US EST. Pretty much if someone is willing to come out, we will make sure they have a good time. Be it small man, 8 man, or more.

I know our guild is working on filling in the class gaps to make any size gorup more viable. so any class would be welcome.

we pretty much are branching out to be able to do ALL things as an alliance. We believe we should never have to resort to using /b to fill a group, or raid...ever unless we really feel like it.
did i mention cookies

Did you say pie?!?!

Seriously though, I'm a casual player who has recently moved to Uthgard permanently. Most times I play a few hours a night between 18:00-22:00 pst. I haven't rvr(ed) much but would really like to. Does your guild mind casual players with warped senses of humor? You'll find me on most nights grinding with my mighty 9th sorc. However I'm really a tank at heart and have a young paladin but know I can'y afford to gear him until I get a sugar-momma toon up there. :)

Give me a shout,
Pashin --> baby sorc
Battlehawk --> paladin

Here is a small taste of what we do.....on a nightly basis. Like griffon said, albionhonorguard.org is the place for more infos and applying into guilds and/or the alliance

Yes, that video is a nice little mash up of pretty much our daily grind. We play in the frontiers all day most days with some df cleaning runs tossed in for fun. We have been known to take a day off to hunt down high end temp items for 5L0 and higher temps, and mp gear for end game 6L + temps

Greg,
Your play style sounds a little like mine in that you find yourself soloing a fair amount of the time. Might I make a few suggestions for classes.

Theurgist: Great to solo and nice for groups. Has some utility and speed is always a plus. Some swear which spec is best, ice or wind to level. I prefer ice since you allow the pets to do 90% of the work and you have a nice spec DD/snare and aoe root. Wind is also nice but you rely totally on DDs. They are nice with a paladin though.

Sorc: There's a great spec sheet out there for soloing that is mostly body for DD but enough mind for pet charm at level and some crack.

Paladin: Slower to level but you almost can't die. If you twist it's even faster. Downside of course is gear cost if you're poor like me. However you will rarely not find a group as everyone loves you.

Just some thoughts...

Pick a class you enjoy, those classes mentioned in the above post are good if you like to solo around a bit, but in the alliance it's really not too hard to get a group up ^^.
