Simple tank assist , won't work if enemies know how to play against it and if their deftanks would play any good.
Seems to work well against most grps running tho but i'd like to see you playing vs a decent caster or hybrid alb/mid grp.
+ lots of cc breaking no camera pan and every fight begins with an insta mezz
but still entertaining , keep it up

Simple, but it seems not to work for the great majority of hib grps.^^
If youd like to see the setup vs caster/hybrid grps, just watch the vid again :)
If you think hes breaking too much CC you obviously do not understand our playstyle :(

So you're basically saying that all the group we defeated are a bunch of noobs.

well winning vs a group in a video that is a take from 1 evening has not even a little representing character of the skill or whatever of the enemys groups. actually i dont care what people think about for example my guilds playstyle, though i simply cant understand how ppl always think they have to draw conclusions or fazits out of anyones playstyle in 2 fights shown -.- its the same ppl that blame a broken resistrate after they had 3 resists in a row on a purple mob 3 IN A ROWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ontopic: personally im not a fan of such video without intro etc...anyway good playstyle keep it up

at least 3of the fights would have been won wys sooner if he hadn´t brake mezz. anyway your successfull so nothing to blame but adaptiing to your playstyle does not need a master in rocket sience so it will get tougher for you i suppose.

Thanks Bloodwyne, 100% subscribe^^

this vid is not meant to be a roXXor vid, just to give an impression of an evening i think all 3 realms enjoyed due to the variety/fairness of all the grps out (especially albs impressed me a lot :) )

yes they do adapt, but we are still playing around with different setups (3 drood for example seems to do great (u like that ixtab?) , and we even try casters sometimes :P ), but for our not overly high rrs (except dunkler..:P) it´s simply more stable with tanks
future will show in which setup this is going to end^^

Qbind sprint and pan camera and you don't have to be lucky with overextending anymore :p
The tactics are plane and simple but in most cases an easy to use approach works better than any fancy stuff :)
But it's somehow surprising that a simple tank assist grp can kill gdrw and others :)

Like with most things in life, it´s not only about what you do, but how you do it.

And Celteen i would appreciate if you could stop speaking dismissively about almost every group on the server (BA 8v8 Thread etc.)
as we haven´t seen a lot from you besides following 8v8 grps to add them.

Edit: dismissively isnt quite it but you know what i mean :p

Heho,

It is a little bit offtopic, but in this thread there are some things which are a little bit wrong i think.

A hard tank assist can rock really, at least on uthgard. If the tanks just assist with 3 on healer the other healer will have much problem to heal. There are much way to counter a tank grp, but that often means you should have a good communication in the group. You have not much things to hold the train, root mezz stun, just hold them for a short time. The guarder can snare but also the guarder can get a stun. Even if you are able to escape from the tank train, one mezz and you get a load of dmg again. Sure, there are many ways to lock down the tank train, but it isn't so easy.

Many people say uthgard groups are gimp or at least worser then live groups. Sure they are but thats have some reasons. On uthgard it is hard to form a sg for some reason. On of it is Inc, you roam sometimes with 2 inc in an hour.If you are a good group, your inc will problably log, then you don't have inc at all. That not really cool for a sg. There are some more reason why it is not so easy for sg here.
There are some groups out there are like a sg, but real sg aren't often on uthgard.
At moment it is maybe enough inc out for that, but most times it enough if you just have good ppl. My guildis for example run often in guild or pug groups and most times that is enough for win much fights and earn many rps. Of course some of us thing about bulding sgs but till now in Midgard just running pug and guildgroups which have a pplpool of like 20 ppl or more.

One of the better hib groups out there. Your playstyle forced us to change our groupsetup, as 3xtank just doesnt cut it anymore.Unfortunately we didnt get a nice opportunity to play against you today because of mid zerg. I guess,cu out there soon.
