tbh just close or hard control this thread at mods
its just the same again: - stealthers flame about groups -fgs flame about zerg/add as x-realm coordination isn't wanted on uthgard there cant be any 8vs8 zone or anything like that, must come from the individuals and not from top-20. so make a post where you discuss pros and contras of a non add zone or to make og or hw as primary rvr zone for fgs but not a post where you just flame again -.- i just start here: there is a part in the bible The Golden Rule One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself (positive form) One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (negative/prohibitive form, also called the Silver Rule) (source wikipedia) so don't add if you don't want to be added. And respec the playstyle of others if you want your playstyle to be accepted too.  |

Go play Guild Wars if you want only 4vs4, 8vs8, 10vs10. Imo DAoC is one of the few mmorpgs who makes zerg possibile and epic sometimes. It's a REALM VS REALM WAR, not a squad vs squad. Everyone can play however he/she prefer, but don't annoy others because they wanna play this game other ways. The idea of Nerobit and other mids to organize an rvr zerg event it's very appreciated from lots of people and attract casual players too: it's more easy to join the zerg, it's less stressful, looks more like a war.  |

What you don't understand is that different people enjoy different things. The fact that a group of people enjoys zerging doesn't mean that they have the right to ruin the fun of people that enjoy 8v8. Just like people who play 8v8 shouldn't ruin the fun of those who like to solo or duo.

yeah but the call for fair 8vs8 from the same players who ruined 8v8, 1v1 and smallgrp rvr for years is just funny
 But hey, i am really pro the free for all kind of rvr. As i stated back then i even wasn't mad at the black adders when they addet everything with theyr stealthers. I like fair 8vs8, but i don't care for add either. What happens just happens. Be glad if you find a fair 8v8, don't be mad to win or loose by adds. Enjoy the game  |

Get your facts straight before u spew misinformation about me. I started on this server this January . I do not have a stealther.I did not "ruin anything for years'. It was probably a mistake to post here in the first place , judging from the quality of the replies, but i guess some people will "entertain" themselves for a few minutes. |

Do you know what? The fact that some players enjoy running with an high rr sg doesn't mean that they have the right to ruin the fun of casual players (which is for sure not in the intention of those players, but always happen because low rr grps and pugs can't compete). The fact that Uthgard pro players mentality force ppl to roll mostly chars for the perfect group ruins the fun of playing disliked classes. I don't care what you prefer to play. Imho 8vs8 is funny, 4vs4 is funny, solo is funny and zerg is funny, but don't complain because of some casual zerg events which give lots of ppl (mostly casual players or newbies) the chance to have some fun! |

then maybe you should inform yourself with whom you are playing and how they played before starting this sg sry, but ba can't really expect to be taken serious on this. i didn't blame you personally, i did not even blame anyone. I like the idea of OG as 8vs8 zone. Something i propose here since OF came out. But a player stands for what his guild did and does in my oppinion. DG zergt a lot in the beginning and i don't expect anyone to forget this. I like when we don't get addet, but i don't expect it from anyone nor will i ever flame anyone for it. |

Zerg sux, but its the only one way for newcomers do some rps. Most of 8vs8 players never inv in group newcomers, they only prefer play with their rr10 friends.
Well there are other way too, respect solos, duos... while smallman groups must respect 8vs8 players too, but this never happens last time. |

This has been tried numerous times in the past. There's just not enough people committed to this sort of thing.
Oh and don't be surprised to be held accountable for your guild's reputation. They've been top of the most hated list for a lot of people for a long long time. I've no respect for them as players. |

I really like the zerg going on in emain, i just wrote that Nerobit and Snord, that it could be important they do. Could be a change for uthgard to get many more ppl in RvR. On the other side i really like 8vs8, but there is enough place for both. The important point is, if there are enough player for both. Would be really cool if I could decide when i log if i try to build a group for OG or just go out with a twink and stick the zerg. So of course, i would be up to come OG with a good group, but really I think it is really cool that BiT organize so much zergs atm. Greetz Luydor |
